Has anybody noticed anti-estrogen effects from taking Iodine?

Ive read that taking Iodine, especially if you are deficient, has anti-estrogen properties and effects.


Has anybody noticed these effects that are taking iodine?

It will not lower estrodial but change 16 hydrox estrone to estriol - good estrogen. it helps to keep the estrogen metabolism going in the right direction reducing chances of cancer.

From what i have read, Estrone is more cancer causing than Estradiol. Is this true? Ive read that younger teenage woman and girls have higher Estradiol levels at this younger age and lower Estrone levels, and around age 35 and after menopause, Estradiol decreases and Estrone increases, and this is when most of the breast and other cancers start happening.

They both go back and forth from e1 to e2. As one gets older post menopause then e2 goes down and its the ratio of progesterone/e2 is more the main factor then anything else in breast cancer. One can have low e2 and have a low p/e2 and still be at risk.

So, what's a proper supplementation routine for iodine? Is there particular form that is preferred? Does anyone use guggulsterones anymore? Would these have application for what you are talking about?
