HARDtotheCORE's Back! 19y/o 235

whats goin on brothers. I've been away from the message boards for a while, but not from the gym. I been training like an animal, and despite some major setbacks from the year (several injuries, sickness, etc.) i think i've made some improvements. I'm currently starting to lean out for the summer. some stats:
19 years old 5'10", 235lbs, bf?, 32" waist.
current supplements: anabolic pump, CEX, Beverly glutamine plus.

Awesome work man, really great. Your shoulders look especially insane in the read double bi, haha mind if I borrow em?

cycle history?

I've been thinking about adding anabolic pump to my regiment, have you noticed some tangible effects from it?

I actually feel the anabolic pump leaning me out faster than a fat burner does, and let me tell you, it gives pretty damn good pumps during your workout. as far as cycle history, i have yet to take the needle, and am still all natural. Thanks for the props guys!

Looking good. You need to work on you back and get it wide and thick. Right now your arms and shoulders are
over-powering your back.

Nice bro, I'm still all natural as well.

I'm sitting @ 250 now, but deffinately jealous of that 32" waist, I've got 4" on you there.

How about your other measurements? I am sure your back is ****ing impressive but I gotta agree that as awesome as your shoulders and arms are they way overshadow it.

god damn! gotta love the stretch marks...you've definatly earned your badges!

thanks for all the kind words guys! your keepin me motivated during my dark times (living on tuna and broccoli... ya'all feel my pain i'm sure)

Not bad dude. You have a very "Marcus Ruhl-esque" build. Keep up the good work.

Thanks man! i'll take that as a massive compliment. now i just need to add about another 80lbs of solid muscle and a sick flattop (like markus did in the late 90's... man i wish flattops were still in)

Bring em' back baby , bring up back :head:

I just got my Anabolic pump two days ago, too early to say any for certain comments, but I just feel good overall like I'm a weed about to take over a garden haha

Keep up updated bro

sick man! i got another bottle, as well as JW and BAM coming soon, to stack up with my diesel test 2010 for my dieting.... i'm real excited to see how i respond to that stack. and since everyone's been saying my back's been lagging, i've been hitting it really hard, and took a new pic... tell me if it looks any better!

Alright I think what everyone needed to see was the rear lat spread, your lats are actually coming along nicely, it was just deceptively hard to see in the rear double bi because your shoulders are so overpowering. The strech marks on the lats are epic, someone has been hittin it hard, keep it up.

So I am curious, what's your routine for your shoulders look like?

JW & BAM should be an awesome stack btw, I want to get around to running that as well, the Designer Supps NHA stack also gave me some pretty freaky results. Ever try X-Factor?

nice Rocky poster btw

My shoulder routine is pretty simple... goes somethin like this:

3 sets some type of press 4-12 reps... usually DB press, Standing BB press, or smith machine press... up to 315

5-6 sets of 6 - 20reps of side laterals, either cable, one arm at a time, dumbells, going up to usually 60s

3 sets of 12 reps Rear Delt reverse fly thingy on the pecdec...

3 sets of either DB or BB shrugs, alternating rep scheme greatly week to week.

Finish with plate raises with a 45. and that does 'er!

So far the JW/BAM/AP/DCP stack is going very well. I'm leaning out almost too quick. strength is still good, vascularity is coming out, and a distinct increase in hardness is apparent.

Nice work man!

Tips:

1. Needs more chest

2. Needs more lats

so do heavy @$$ to Gr@ss squats twice a weak and hit that check / bench / weighted chin ups.

I'd like to squat twice a week... but i always go all ****ing out on leg day, and i usually have trouble walking for 5 days afterwards, and am usually still sore when i squat again the next week. And i do squat ass to the grass, my powerlifting background helps in that area! thanks for the tips

You are a huge 19yr old!

Your right arm looks longer and (even) bigger in both Back DB poses? is it?

yessir is it. When i was about 15 years old i competitively raced downhill mountain bikes, and jumped off a 15-20 foot cliff, hit a tree on the way down, and landed on my left shoulder, shattered the growth plate in my shoulder, and seperated it pretty badly. the length difference seems to be about 2-3 inches or so... but isnt noticeable... for me at least.

Fvcking awesome, man. You said you were a powerlifter - mind sharing what your training/diet was then?

Yeah bro, when i was powerlifting i usually did a 3 or 4 day split, depending on my phase of training. When preparing for a meet, it was strictly 3 days. Bench on tuesday, back thursday, then squats/deadlift on sunday. I usually did very low volume, very low reps. When not preparing for a particular meet, i would do squats/deads on sunday, then i'd do chest on tuesday, then arms/shoulders on thursday, and back on friday. Still kept reps loww. usually in the 2-6 range, utilizing different types of board presses, floor presses, etc.

While powerlifting my diet was pretty simple. I ate a lot. I would usually eat primarily clean foods high in protein, and high in good carbs, and have one "****" meal per day... so i'd have like a chicken parm sub, or a few pieces of pizza, or something like that just to get in extra calories... this would usually be about 2 hours prior to training. I put on the most quality mass during these times.

Physiquewise, i was thick as ****... but kinda bloated. I definately had a bit of a "power gut". Heres a shot of me at 247 when i was in my 4 day split powerlifting phase... i believe i just turned 18 in this picture.

Jesus Christ, I think 99.99% of people on this forum wished they had size like you at their age, let alone at 19!! Awesome job man, keep up the great work.

If you don't mind, could you post your training routine? Is it the traditional BB split, or something like a FB or upper/lower split?

Currently I'm on a basic BB split, and have been for quite a while. Nothing really special. I Train 5 days per week

Mon - Legs
Tues - Chest
Wed - Back
Thurs - shoulders
Fri - arms

I usually do 3 exercises per muscle, with 3 or 4 all out worksets to failure for each, except for back and legs, which i usually do around 5 exercises for. I lift reallllllly intense. I usually end up throwing up somewhere in the gym, getting a horrible nosebleed all over myself, and tend to get all kinds of freaked out looks from EVERYONE... but hey, i think it works!! if you want more specifics, lemme know brotha! thanks for the props - HTTC
