Hey guy been training hard for a little over a year and a half now, and haven't seen gains that my routines and diet have should be providing. Lost my license and decided that I was gonna clean up a bit as in reduce alcohol. Consumption, eat much healthier (and alot) and hit the gym hard. I'm at 167 lbs and roughly 12 or 13% body fat not too sure. Daily intake is clean roughly 3500 cals and 150 grams of protien w no shakes. I atarted off. Doing upper body and squats every other day, 4 sets of squats and deads and 5 of all other. Saw minimal gains, about 3 lbs in 4 months. Was like wtf I feel good strength is increasing but weight gain is very small. Started doing more rwsearch and found info on hardgainer and decided to switch up my routine to m w f....chest back/legs abs/ bis tris shoulders. Workouts usually 4 sets, 10, 8, 6, 6 or 4. Deads, bb bench, db bench, weighted dips, rows, flys, lat pulldowns, squats, iso curls, hammer curls, compound curls, calf raises ect. Obviously these split between the 3 days. Im up 5 lbs steady since starting. Yay, I can **** out 3 in a sitting.
Now since going to the less is more routine I've lost 80 percent of my "bulk....haha" but my strength increased a bit and weight is the same maybe even more? What is going on. My sleep isn't amazing, about 7 hours a night but not bad, amd I'm willing to do whatever it takes I eat all day, people always commenting on how much I eat, work my ass off in the gym, don't drink very much for a 22 year old. I lift heavy as I can, bench max 205 deads 265 squats 225. I have very skinny wrists and hands and legs.
Since I've started lifting I guess Ive made chest improvements, forearms( I know strange but theywve grown w less in biceps), tris and traps. But still not where I feel they should be. Did do an andromass anavar stack which was a waste of money. I looked good after, weighed 172 wich was mostly water weight, but my muscles were full and I was getting ALOT of compliments from friends. Well I'm down to 167 which is only up 3 lbs from the stack. Idk guys I mean this may seem like a vent cuz its long, it ki.da is a vent lol but I need help
. I'm losing what miniscule size I've gained, haven't been sore from a workout except deads and squats since last year. Ill be tight but that's it. 14 inch arms and I'm a tree climber for a day job. All critics and suggestions welcomed! Aggrivation is getting the best of me and my genetics. Last week a massive dude that I always see at the gym and sometimes spot eachother if needed said he can't comprehend why I'm not gaining size rapidly, I lift heavy, eat well, good routine, change it up. Sucks hate using artificial supplements but creatine has no affect on me ans just picked up some tbol lv that I'm going to be stacking w andromass and m lmg

First less is more is better..... Your over training it sounds like... Not just in the gym but you said you climb trees everyday? That's a workout right there...

Second don't do steroids at 167lbs....

Third no cardio....for hardgainers

4th.... Eat more protein 150 grams is nothing..... Espeically if eating 3500.... Write down what you eat and the macros.... Try to hit at least 200 grams of protein....if not 250....

First......break this shiz into paragraphs, then i'll come back and read it.

Agree^^

What was your PCT and nutrition like after your cycle? Thats a lot of loss.

Your getting less than 20% of you calories form protein bro...big no-no if you want to grow.

1g of protein = 4 cal

your protein intake is fine, 1 gram/lb of bodyweight is overrated. Everyone wants to look at protein first, but count carbs first especially if your a hardgainer. Lots of carbs man!! I would curtail your workouts to 3x/wk and seriously look into high intensity routines, based on your job as a tree climber. Stay away from volume for now, it will do you no justice
