Halovar by Purus Log

I revamped my workout from a 4 day split (2 days of push and 2 days of pull +leggs) per week to Sun - Legs, Mon - Chest/Tri, Tues Back/Bi, Wed - Shoulders workout. This will allow my muscles to rest longer.

I've noticed alot of strength gains. My weight has remained relatively stable making me think I'm increasing muscle and decreasing fat. I'm eating like a horse. LOTS of protein.

I have about two weeks of the Halovar left. I'm going to start the Epistane when I have about 4 days of Halovar left. I'm going to do a 40/40/30/30 of the Epi. Then Nolva and XLean for post cycle therapy.

Anyone recommend anything to get my normal testosterone levels back up as quickly as possible? Purus labs makes "Re-Cycle" but I haven't seen anything about it. Any other suggestions are welcome.

I'll post before and after pics when I'm totally done with the cycle.

PS I've been incorporating cardio 3x a week. I usualy run about 2-3 miles per time, 5-6mph on the treadmill.

Serm run inversely with an AI like 6 Bromo or 6oxo or ATD and throw in some Powerfull. You will be fixed up, I guarantee it.

There are also research chem AI's available but I'm not educated enough to introduce those to you.

PS I need 1/3 more of a bottle of Epistane. 32 pills to be precise to finish my cycle. I'd hate to buy another bottle for $39.00. $39.00/90 pills is .44 a pill. Anyone want to sell me 32 pills for $15? Pm me if you've got some extra. I need em by the 14th since that's when my bottle runs out.
 
I know I haven't been keeping a "picture perfect" log here, but its my first one and I didn't want to bore everyone with every last detail.

I have "before" pics but I'm frankly embarassed by them. I figure I'll be more willing to post them at the end of the total cycle in two weeks when you can see how huge I've gotten. LOL

I took the day off completely from everything. No work, no cardio, no strength training. Nada. Just a nice relaxing day off.

Tomorrow would normally be "legs." However, they are still in pain from last weeks w/o:

4 sets of each:

Squats (used a bb plate to raise my toes off the floor to isolate the quads)
Deadlifts (first time I have done them in a looooong time)
Hack Squats
Hamstring Curls

Standing Calf Raise
Seated Calf

So I might take tomorrow off too. I don't want to overtrain.
 
There's NO way I could do legs today. They are still in pain. I'm going to do 30 minutes of cardio, bike maybe light jogging.

I bought some Cocoa butter cream advertised for stretch mark prevention for pregnant chicks. I'm applying it 3x a day. I don't want any marks.

I got two more compliments today on my burgeoning physique. I'm starting to see my veins on my shoulders which is a FIRST.

epol is a combination of 3 different methyls. It seems a bit overkill, IMO. I would stick to 1 at a time or maybe 1 and Epistane/Epidrol.

Purus Labs makes pretty expensive products. Take Halovar for example. Its $49. You can get the same compound sold as H-Drol, which is what I'm going to get next time.
 
Well, my left shoulder hurts pretty bad. It hurt a bit last Friday during my shoulder workout, but I tried to work through it.

When I tried to do chest yesterday, it REALLY REALLY hurt to the point that I couldn't finish my bench press. I did some Decline BB press figuring it would use less shoulders. Then I did flys and a few tricep exercises. Overall, the workout sucked big time.

I am going to do some cardio today and *maybe* do back/biceps tomorrow. I've got to play it by ear. I don't want to fuk things up. I just hope it heals up quick.

I think it is a muscle injury and not my joint.

I have noticed some "dryness" in my joints. I also started to get some mild acne.

I bumped up my Epi dose to 60mg a day, 3 pills in the morning and 3 in the evening before my workout around 7 pm

I put on 10 lbs in about 3 weeks, a little raise in BF, but you got to run a SERM after it. Its some potent ****, and almost 2 months later I still have the bodyweight I gained. It hasn't diminished, but you have to run a good diet like any other clone/stack/etc.

I was running a total of 3 caps per day at my peak. One in the morning, one at lunch and one before work out.

I also ramped up to that dose as follows.

Week 1: 1 cap per day in the afternoon
Week 2: 1 cap upon waking, one before workout
Week 3: 1 cap upon waking, one at lunch, and one before workout
Week 4: 1 cap upon waking, and one before workout.

Be careful with this stuff.
 
yup. i bumped it up for the last two weeks. I didn't start to have the knee problems until the 2nd day of the 60mg. SO, I may have to back it down to 40 again. Maybe I should do 60mg on workout days and 40 on non-workout days.
 
well, my shoulder is hurt pretty bad. I'm going to have to take a week off until it heals. I should be able to do legs and cardio. BAH
 
Sounds like you are dried out completely. I would start taking a ton of fish oil and cissus and get ready for a good pct.
 
Dang man - That sucks, hope you heal fast. I think 60mg is a bit to high. There's no point in drying your joints out, then killing them in the weight room - so I think they're trying to tell you something, so listen to them.

A week off is no biggie. Better a week to heal, than pushing through it and hurting yourself to a point that you're out for a few months. Trust me, shoulder surgery sucks donkey dung!

Maybe you should go ahead and start your PCT - heal up and think about the next cycle. NG and Drive will be out soon, so stacking one of those two non-methyls with a PH will bring yield some insane gains!

right on. i'll keep you all posted. i'm hoping its a muscle in my shoulder and not my joint. i definately should have been supplementing with cissus.

regardless, i learned a HELL OF A LOT in the last month and a half!!!

My calfs are so pumped that the skin on the outside feels like its ripping. Its INSANE.

I'm still dosing the Epi at 40mg.

I'll be starting my post cycle therapy next Thursday with Torem and X-Lean. I ordered some bulk Cissus powder too.

I realize this log isn't standard by any means. But I'm not sure that everyone wants to see every calorie I eat or see a record of every weight I push. Maybe I'll do that the next log I make.

Halovar Final Review

Since I finished the Halovar two weeks ago, I'll make some final comments on it.

Pros - Halovar is a clone of Halodrol-50. I increased strength and added a few lbs of LBM. I definately got "harder."


Cons-
Halovar is expensive. At around $49, it is much more expensive than a comparable clone, H-Drol, which is under $30.
Another problem with Halovar is that it only comes in 50mg pills. When I run another cycle, I am looking forward to ramping up the dose to 75mg a day. H-drol will allow me to do this, since they have 25mg pills.

Although I don't recommend Halovar because of price, I recommend the underlying compound. Give it a shot. :head:

REMEMBER - Halovar, Halodrol-50, H-Drol, is a methylated oral steroid. When taking ANY steroid, you need proper Post Cycle Therapy (PCT) including a SERM!
 
Thanks for following through to the end Matt. Its interesting that not too many people commented in the log. I guess my newbish introduction turned people away.

Have no fear, Edwards the newb is no more. My next log will be complete with stats, pics, diet, reps and weight and lots of witty banter.

Bro - You've come a long way since your first post! LOL

I think most people are not in to Halovar - but if you cycled something like Drive or NG, people would tune in because they are new supplements - catch me?

Let me know when you want to start thinking about a new cycle - we can come up with something SICK! But not so unhealthy. And plus, I have a stock-pile of things that we might be able to use - at a reasonable price (no rip-offs) here.
 
If I knew what the hell "drive" was, I might be apt to do it. NG sounds ok. It also sounds like it has some stims in it which I'm not into.
Maybe a M-Drol/Drive stack. We'll see. I've got a few months to recuperate and get a solid base before then.
 
Shoulder is feeling better but no where near healed.

I am going to do some concentration curls today. Maybe 10 sets of 10, German Volume style, so I isolate my biceps.

I noticed when I tried to do standing BB curls, I could feel it in my shoulder. I definately don't want that.

An aquaintance gave me some NO from Apex nutrition. I just took it about 30 minutes before my w/o.

Also doing 30 minutes of cardio today. I feel like I've put some fat on. Balancing caloric intake is difficult.

King Salmon and broccoli for dinner tonight. Yummy :food:
 
I've got a few days left of the Epi. I dosed 60mg yesterday and worked out my chest. My shoulder still hurt a bit. I am sure that it is my joint as my other shoulder hurts a little too. I started to take Cissus bulk powder from NP.

I ordered it on Saturday and it was here on Monday. THANKS NP!

After a workout and the steamroom, I weighed in at 197. Thats about 10 lbs gain. Some of it is fat, but not much. I start PCT on Saturday.

I just started on this three days ago and the advice of one of the trainers at my gym. I keep reading different things on e-pol that makes me want to stop talking it. Should I stop taking it and start on pct now???

if you've only been taking it three days, you might be able to simply stop. but don't take my word for it. i'm a noob. start a new thread on it in the steroid forum. epol is a combination of three methyl steroids.

I've had erections a few times today which NEVER happens. I normally don't get a hard-on when I'm at Starbucks. Interesting
 
Its going very well. My shoulder is healed. I hit them pretty hard last night. I feel great. I'm dosing Torem at 120mg a day. 30 in the morning and 90 at night. Soon I'll be doing 90 a day, then 60 and finally 30.

xlean twice daily.

I just received my Drive and started taking it. I'll be starting a log today or tomorrow.

I've also got my diet under control. 2400 cal per day, 6 meals + 20g casein protein at bedtime.

I'm about 198ish. Up 10 lbs. Still 18% bf. So I gained about 1.8 lbs fat of that 10.

I really liked my cycle. I'm going to run halodrol again in a few months.

I took another drug screening today. Not sure if I tested positive for Meth again or not. LOL (I will be PISSED if I did since I DON'T DO METH!)
 
Nice gains on your cycle. Now that you have finished, which did you like better...Epistane or Halodrol-50?
 
I think the biggest strength and mass gains came during week 4 of halodrol50 when I was also using the epistane. the epistane seemed to really dry me out alot. I got emotional on it too when I bumped it to 60mg a day. I've still got 3/4 of my epidrol bottle left, so I'll do another cycle of epi. I also am going to do another halodrol cycle too. I guess its hard to pick which I liked better. Sorry I couldn't be more specific.
The nature of combining the two makes it difficult to know which did what.
PCT is coming along fine. I just started to take AN's "Drive" and I started a log so everyone can follow my progress.

You're too young - Just eat, sleep and eat some more. Compound exercizes are the best for you right now. Maybe supplement with creatine, BCAA's and a multi-vitamin.

Spend your money on food.

I'm almost 33, been lifting seriously for 13 years this Feb. I've used a few designers, some old school PH's, and supplements like creatine etc. Food is where its at for you. As a matter of fact it will give someone my age what I need as well. I did an Epistane only cycle, but the only reason I gained the weight I did was because I ate like a madman. You have natural test in your advantage whereas at my age I dont. You need to seriously eat, lift, rest, repeat.

At your age food will give you what you need. Eat clean, eat alot and eat often. After you've been lifting 5-6 serious years, then do some evaluation on whether or not you are ready to use something else.

At 19, its a long way to 70 if you've screwed yourself up.
