Halotest-25

cue

New member
21 years old, experienced lifter, lost alot of weight when I took time off training. I have been back in full swing on a bulk diet for 8 months and have not gained a pound. I have done research but wondering if experienced users will think Halotest-25 will help in my quest to bulk back up. What should I take to ensure I'll be safe? suggested PCT? liver support?

thanks

chill man,
i think you should post your diet, 8 months on a bulk diet and nothing? sounds like your diet needs some work. and your training as well.

prohormones/prosteroids are for people who already have there training and diet on point, and have maxed out there genetic potential. they are not for guys just getting back in the gym that want to get big but lack the discipline to train and eat correctly.

so the help i will offer is, post your diet, and we can start from there.

I am eating between 5000-6000 calories a day pretty damn strict. At about 40/40/20. My training is very regimented at 4 days a week, with a former Mr.Canada/Mr.Florida. Both of us are fizzeled as to how I can't put on weight, he suggested injections but I'm not heading down that road.

Time Meals
9:00 AM 5 eggs, McCanns steel cut oatmeal(applesauce), Peanut Butter
10:00 AM
11:00 AM Protein Bar and Ensure
12:00 PM
1:00 PM Chicken w/ salad or veggies or brown rice or Tuna (wrap?)
2:00 PM
3:00 PM Protein Bar
4:00 PM Ensure
5:00 PM
6:00 PM Chicken / Steak / Fish w/ salad or brown rice
7:00 PM
8:00 PM Protein Bar / Shake
9:00 PM
10:00 PM Protein Bar / Shake
11:00 PM
12:00 AM

Generally its a lil different but mostly that

Seems like a lot of protein bars and shakes in yoru diet. Not that there is necessarily anything wrong with that but I don't see really the carb intake for a true bulk cycle. Nearest I can tell you're eating maybe 200ish grams of carbs per day, if you were bulking with 5-6000 calories I'd think your carb intake would be much higher. You need a spaghetti dinner or two!

Thats why I said thats the basic diet I have added in more serving of complex carbs like massive amounts of sweetpotatoes with meals and mounds of brown rice

and once a week I have whole wheat pasta for dinner(my favourite meal of the week) haha

ya that is alot of bars and only 3 real meals, try something more like this...

breakfast- 10 egg whites, 3 whole eggs, cup of oatmeal with a box or rasins thrown in.

mid morning snack- 2 wheat bagels, and 1 or 2 chicken brest

lunch- half pound of lean beef, with either cup of brown rice and peanut butter or half a can of black beans

snack- protein shake

dinner- half pound of lean beef or salmon fillet with a whole head of broccoli

then at 2 or 3 am get up and drink another protein shake

that is my base diet for when im bulking, it works,

oh i do wake up at 3am to but i eat a chicken breast

i have some stomach issues thats why i dont eat more whole food i wish i could, thats the reason for all the replacements

but evenso with the caloric intake i should be putting on some weight

do you do much cardio?
do you drink pre work out drinks with stimulants in them?
do you drink alcohol much?

well with out much whole food its going to be difficult to put on much weight period. a protein shake or bar i a supplement, which means it is ment to aid your diet not make up half of it

instead of getting up in the middle of the night, try a miceller protein or just normal casein protein jsu before bead cause ive heard that waking up does someting to your natural gh that you release when you sleep sleep

i understand what your saying with the meal replacements but i should have added at least a little weight

no i dont drink at all and i use NO xplode before i workout along with creatine

Although there are several good ideas here, I think a weightgainer is IDEAL for a hardgainer such as yourself. If money is an issue, go for Muscle Juice (Ultimate Nutrition?). One weightgainer shake and one protein shake per day should be enough alongside of .. 4-5 solid meals.

Like previously mentioned, I do recommend 4-5 solid meals @ 40-50 grams of protein in each. It's NEVER necessary to consume 2 X 8 oz. chicken breast, as your body will never absorb the whole 110 grams of protein it takes in in that '2 bagels and 2 chicken breast' meals.

You need carbs; make sure you get at least 70-80 grams of carbs per meal. Use olive oil in your cooking, but don't go too crazy with other fatty food sources.

Just my $.02 ..

And no, Halotest 25 is not for you yet ..

no-explode has stimulants in it which burn alot of your calorie intake, if your a hard gainer and trying to bulk stay away from stimulants.

if you are drinking the amount of water that you should be through out the day then you sould have to wake up in the middle of the night to pee, thats when i drink my shake.

but casein shake or big bowl of cottage cheese rite before bed is good too

and i wouldn't do cardio more than once a week if your trying to gain

have a look on these forums about prebed shake. there also a poll on here where most people agree waking up in the middle of the night isnt as good as a pre bed shake

thats when i eat when i wake up to pee

and i only do 7 minutes of light cardio as a warmup no more throughout the week

yes ive also heard of this as your body wakes up naturally and not becuse of an alarm

no alarm needed trust when you gotta go you gotta go!! haha

now if i was to take halotest whats a good liver support/and PCT

for future reference(wanna stock it before they take it off the market like halo50)

please just forget about the halotest 25 till you get your diet on track. your 21! you should have more test than you know what to do with.

norwegin- your rite the body cant absorb all 110 g of protein from two chicken breast at once but your body does use it else where.
when i first started that diet i was only eating one chicken breast and one bagel, but now that doesn't fill me up anymore, so i eat two of each, i have also added a cup of yogurt to the breakfast and an avocado to dinner. i snack on bars throughout the day as well but i surely dont count that as meals. most people don't understand how much food it really takes to put on the mass that they want. you tell them to eat more and they say "i eat alot" but alot to them isn't enough.

personally, and im proli going to get some flack forthis but ..... if you are running a methylated product (usually for 4 weeks) liver support is a joke, its like trying to use airborne to cure cancer (its not going to work) after your cycle your liver values will return to normal in several weeks on its own.

hahah you are gonna get some flack for that but thanks for the honesty

have you taken a similar product?

Bro, it sounds like your appetite is a giant BLACK HOLE ! haha .. How the hell do you eat that great of an amount of food in one sitting ?! Let me tell ya, when I carbload, I'm rarely able to consume more than 100 grams of carbs in one meal -> f.x two cups of oatmeal, or two bagels .. It's rough ! haha .. and you top that off with two chicken breasts, as well ? LOL, props to you !

I'm so used to running low or NO carb that even when I've got the opportunity to eat carbs, I feel guilty of endulging -> althought it's part of my diet .. lol

Not sure if it helps but I also had a weight gain issue. I started a bulk at the start of Feb weighing a hefty 157lbs :)

I hit the scales today at 174lbs, 17lbs gain in 54 days just under 8 weeks :)

What I did was this:

07:00 Weight gain shake (mammoth 2500) @ 920 cals + Multi Vit
08:30 Sausage sandwich with brown sauce @ 450 cals
12:00 Subway roughly @ 950 cals
16:00 WORK OUT
17:00 PWO Weight gain shake (mammoth 2500) @ 920 cals
19:00 Lrg chick brst, Lrg portion of rice & separate Lrg Bowl of salad dressed in olive oil @ 750 calories
23:00 Bed

That totals around 4000 calories give or take. I know its far from clean and its not 5-6 small meals a day but it worked for me. I ate a lot of carbs which is key.

I dont think you should eat super super clean when bulking but try and keep it 60/40 split clean/dirty. But do avoid real dirty like Mac D's.

A weight gainer is a really good idea. Esp if you have stomach issues. And these guys are right there is no substitute for wholesome food but if you cant do it you cant do it.

Also while I was bulking I kept my work outs down to 3x per week but lifting as heavy as I could and no more than 10 reps per set.

I have IBS so I know it can be difficult but you can find the foods you can get away with. Trial and error.

So get a weight gainer, keep carbs high and drink a lot of water.

Paul:)

Oh and I used no supplements other than a weight gainer and multi vit, so dont bother with the halo you can gain without :)

Awesome gains, bro !! Which is why this is NOT a critique, but dude, 3 meals ONLY ?! I'd bet a pretty penny you'd gain leaner mass had you added more protein in the form of solid foods .. Or even just a casein shake prior to bed-time, because fact of the matter is you're fasting for a whole 12 hours in between your final PM meal and your first AM meal .. I HIGHLY suggest you add, preferably, another dinner of chicken and rice around 10PM.

Anyway, thanks for proving my point regarding the NO-need of Halotest 25 !! (your results say it all ..)

Cheers Norwegian and yes your right my gains have been 70% good but 30% fat :(

However because I was such a hardgainer with a poor appetite my main goal was to bulk and I was not interested in being ripped at the time. Also I had never bulked properly b4.

Now my appetite is up and my body is use to consuming these amount of calories I have switched to 5-6 smaller meals a day upping my clean protein. And I have starting using casein shake prior to bed-time.

So lean times to come, hopefully.

Thank you for the feedback mate :)

Now worries about that ratio man -> 70/30 .. For a bulk, I'd say that's still decently lean !

I bulked in Fall of '06 -> gained 45 lbs in 3 months off of Isa-test and a diet consisting of 4-5 meals per day of burger/burger meat, chicken breast, 10-whole egg ommelettes, tons of fries, bbq beans, oatmeal, alongside of 2-3 shakes per day. It was by NO means a pretty sight, nor did I feel very healthy @ 280 lbs ! And my ratio wasn't as good as yours, I've got to be honest .. lol

Anyway, let the lean times come, man !

hell ya props hard gainer! just curious though ... how long have you been training?
also how tall are you?

im a personal trainer and all day i see all walks of life in and out of the gym, iv noticed that people that are new to training make better gains faster when they first start training, because there body isnt use to it and it sparks more growth. people like most of us who have been training for a long time have to train harder and eat better to see the same gains because our bodies have built up and adaptation to working out.

Started lifting properly in Jan/Feb just b4 I started bulking.(this year)

I use to be of a pretty good build around 4 years ago until I started suffering from depression and drinking heavy. I lost a lot of weight as a result including all the muscle I had.

I enjoyed lifting when I was a teenager and the doctor told me exercise would help the depression and my sleeping. So I joined the gym in January. By Feb I decided this was 110% for me and that I was gonna plan my life around lifting instead of the pub. I knocked alcohol on the head the first week into Feb and have been loving it since.

So your right I was pretty much a new comer, hence my gains probably??

I am a rugby player and play at a competitive level. Will halotest levae me with stretch marks. I don't want people to think I am taking steroids. I want to keep it quiet. Do people get stretch marks from Halotest 25? Thanks

You need to add some more lean fats and oils into your diet as well. As someone said before, you need to add some more carbs as well. Sometimes when you're bulking you just have to go all out and get messy with it, if you know what I mean. You have the metabolism of an athletic 21 year old. You have to be able to shock that metabolism into submission. Throw in some red meat every now and again. Go to a buffet and stuff yourself until you feel sick. This is what I mean by "messy". Shock your system- it is key! I was where you were at when I was 21. I could eat anything and not put on weight....Until, I started eating KFC, slamming weight-gainer shakes, and almost puking at every single meal. Well, I put the weights down for years, and I just recently got back into the gym at 31 and overweight. My muscle growth in the past 6 months has been insane! I'm lifting more than I was ever able to in my early 20's. I'm 5'7', 198 lbs at 14% bodyfat. Body fat isn't attractive, but you NEED fat to bulk. If you have a 6 pack, you can probably still keep it while you are bulking, but don't be so protective over it that you can't allow yourself to get a little dirty with your diet. You need to eat like a bear.
