After couple of years without going to gym at all, I finally got myself back on track January this year. Thought to drop some weight (110kg at the time) but for some reason nothing seemed to work, dunno if it was age related thing (44 yrs) or something else, so I decided to build some muscle first and diet later. Here's my progress from February to August. If nothing else, at least there's some change in color :D Weight 110kg / 107kg

Looks like you lose a good amount of fat and built or regained some muscle. Good job, keep going. The lower you get your bodyfat the more insulin sensitivity you gain and it will allow you to build muscle and loose fat faster. The older we get the more important insulin sensitivity is in achieving results.

Thanks all for nice comments. 44 isn't THAT old no, but it's starting to feel. Most, if not all of those gains are just old muscles regained, here's a reference picture from 2018. Hoping to get back into that shape and maybe a bit over :)
