Hair loss question

First off don't think im a total dumbass PLEASE, just wanted to clarify some stuff............ When you guys say hand fulls are coming out in the shower a few pieces (of hair)..... etc etc. Will that hair ever come back or is that hair never gonna be growing back? I mean I know its off ur head for now but will it ever grow in that spot anymore. I just wanted to know cause I have no personal experience about that and have never had any balding before. Dont think im a total dumbass haha
 
take a look at the hair, if there is a lil white bulb on the end, thats the follicle. Its unlikely that one is comin back bro ;)
