BigVrunga said:Just an update! Since Ive been using:
1mg Finasteride (oral) 1x per day
1ml 15% Xandrox solution mornings
1mg 5% Xandrox Night time solution evenings
Regrowth Treatment Shampoo 3x per week
Homemade Laser Brush 2x/10min per week
Ive seen some serious regrowth on all areas of my head that were thinning. Ive experienced NO sides from the finasteride at all. About a week after I added it to the stack, I noticed that I was losing far less hairs during a 'pull test' on the thinning spots of my scalp.

I was just about to ask you for an update on the laser comb.
Glad to "hair" the improvements continue.
You only need to use the laser comb 2x10min/week?
Got any recent pics BV?
"...a man approached him, gave him a comb, and asked him to comb his hair. When he did so, within seconds, he said, he felt a strange sensation and discovered that he had lost his penis."
" ...'No doubt, this comb was a laser-controlled surgical robot that penetrates the skull [and passes] to the lower body and emasculates a man!!' "
Well, I`m def intersted in the comb, my question is to those who have made the homemade version - is the strength the same as the HairMax version?

Will Spirolactone topical aid in preventing hairloss associated with the use of substances such as MENT or Tren? Neither are 5alpha reductase so I do know that finasteride isnt a help. If I understand correctly however topical spiro binds to the androgen receptors rendering them unable to bind with the harsh androgens that cause hairloss. Any help appreciated.
BV, I checked out that amazinglasercomb site. Is that where you bought your brush?
I plan on buying one that's already assembled, but I don't know whether I should buy the one with 4 lasers or 6 lasers. Do you think it would make much difference? I'll fork out the $129.95 for the 6 laser model if I have to, but not if it is only marginally better than the $89.95 model with 4 lasers.
Thanks.
I bought the 4 laser model. I don't mind spending a little extra time hitting all the spots. Plus, I'm gonna buy some PGH, so I don't want to spend too much.
You've been a huge help, BV. My wife was just telling me that my hair is much thicker
is there any specific treatment to the dermatosis beside the products mentioned or anything I should know about?
Do I understand correctly that if I go for regrowing I would need to countinue minox for life, and if I go just for stopping its just nizoral EOD and maybe adovart?
BigVrunga said:IRRC,The Hairmax laser comb uses a single laser ~637nM (or something to that effect), and splits it up with a plastic beam splitter to form 9 separate beams. I think the laser they use is 25mW, which would give you ~2.7mW of energy per beam hitting the scalp.
The comb I built (and most other DIY laser devices) uses 6 independent 650nM , 5mW laser diodes operating at 3v. So, the homemade comb is actually producing *more* energy than the $700 version.

obviously some of it is reflected of the head and lost traveling from the diode to the skin. I have no idea how much. there is more information hereSuitable intensities for biostimulation are in the range of from 0.1 to 5,000 mW/cm.sup.2. For stimulating healing of chronic ulcers or wounds intensity may preferably be in the range of from 0.2 to 10 mW/cm.sup.2, for ulcers or wounds in acute inflammatory stage a preferred range is from 10.0 to 30 mW/cm.sup.2 and for infected wounds a preferred range is from 50 to 80 mW/cm.sup.2. Table 2 below shows suitable ranges of intensities for different tissue pathologies.

I actually posted a question regarding that shedding in another thread here. Well, my real question is what do you guys use for receding hairline ??? I got some Dutasteride already, I am thinking about getting some Nizoral 2%. What else would you reccomend ?? Is there any good shampoo that I could use everyday ?? I am thinking about getting this for everday use:

Thanks in advance
Rogaine is not cycled. If you use it, you are making a lifetime commitment, or else you'll lose everything you regrew in about a year.DoubleMint said:I was reading on Rogaine that it's not for receding hairline.
