It was very cool. My Dr. suggested I try it and I've been reading more and more that science if finding validity to it so I decided to give it a go. She is a PHD in accupuncture and chinese medicine so she is VERY educated in this arena. I had needles in my back, feet, stomach, and knees. I HAVE felt improvement since my first vist. She is treating my prostate condition as well and some other things. Even better is that my insurance is paying 80% of it!

Just thought I would let you all know.

Peace,

WW7

pretty kickass that insurance pays bro... I'd go too, what the hell. glad it seems to help!

Yeah its a trip. One of the Dr's at OHSU said that 100% of the patients he has that have tried it have found relief. Thats impressive.

WW7, is your doctor using current with the needles? I've gotten it done once a week for about a year (hip injury), and the treatments with the electric current were the best. My first visit, the doc put a few in my head. That was wild! What I liked the most was the extreme calm I felt. I'd be laying there listening to the Chinese music playing, then wake up an hour later with drool all over my face and the pillow. It took me about 10 minutes to get my head back together when it was over.

WW7, im curious about how much penetration is there with the needles (if you noticed). It looks like its just below the skin but have never witnessed it first hand. Is there alot of bleeding etc.

DD.

Helped my back pain. I was pretty nervous at first, especially when they put them in my ear (externally, not canal!). Didn't really feel them going in. It was a very relaxing and calming experience, and much of my back pain subsided by the following morning.

Second appointment was Yesterday and went very well. I had a needle placed in a VERY sensitive area but was fine after a few adustments. The rest of the needles already seemed routine. I feel very good, the pain in diminshing as well as some other symptoms. I am very thankful for the relief that I am getting.

The Chinese Herbs that she is giving me also DO work noticably. Its interesting to see how effective and researched the 1000's of years Chinese medicine really is.

if u do a research on hua tuo - one of the greatest chinese doc in the history of china, u would be even more amazed. do u noe that what the chinese medicine can do is only less than half what it can do thousand of years ago. wif the death of hua tuo and and an idiot destroying his only medical research journal, the chinese has lost much medical skills. do you noe that the chinese are able to diagnose cancer and treat them even at the last stages? Aids i not sure thou.

Well todays appointment was the best so far. I feel great. I am not a hundred percent yet but with faith and accupuncture I am improving dramatically. I could feel immediate improvement DURING my appointment. She added a few new spots today including ones on my head. It was great. Accupuncture works, hands down.
