Gym Post Bar

It was awsome I was all dressed up and worked out doing chest and tri's. I was getting pretty close to ripping my shirt by the end of my 3rd exercise on tri. The booze didnt' seem to slow me down in the gym. I added 15 pounds to my lay down bench flies. Whatever had to share my stupid experience. it was nice not having anyone in the gym, i was throwing weights around and yelling to finish sets. Not bad after 8 shots and 6 beers or so. But I stayed hydrated drinking water while i drank and imbetween sets.

The whole nite reminded me of the arnold video with him and jim beam.

I think every night I don't go home with a lady friend I'll go to the gym post bar. lol but i'm seroious.

My bench was pretty good, but by the fourth set I was pretty much toast after 6 reps.....

:gas:

Huh, I'm not judging you, but I think going to the gym after 8 shots and 6 beers is counter-productive.

That's just my opinion.... I used to drink too much, and pretty much stopped once I discovered training... I don't really think both go hand in hand.

I dont see how you could walk straight let alone walk to a gym (and not fall down drunk) after a 6 pack and 8 shots (but that may just be my knowledge as I dont drinK)?

Doesnt seem like the best plan of attack for your goals to be drinking like that and then hitting a gym for a "workout"

but to everyone there own and thats just my .02

No it was really stupid, my muscles hurt pretty good right now, I'm struggling to get together enough so I can go do cardio.

But yeah, it was cool as I could lift more because there was no pain just exhaustion.

It won't become a habit, but it was fun to go and try it once. I didn't sweat once as my body was trying to hold onto any water it could.

And thanks guys for not tearing into me, what i did was stupid and counter productive, but I said "lets go the the gym" as we were leaving the bar and my friend drove there....

I was pretty sober after one set, and I was pretty focused like i took 2 amp. My other friend said "I can't beleive u didn't throw up". Well I didn't have any nausea.

Whatever that's my stupid story, i'm pretty sure it won't happen ever again. Live and learn

Yeah, you already said it--it was stupid--but not much you can do about it now. The lack of pain and extra strength could have been a result from the dopamine that is released when you drink.
