Gym etiquette rules

My pet peeve is dumbazzes who don't re-rack the dumbells in their original spot. I mean this really irritates me, when I want to dumbell press the big weights I want them in a spot where they are easily accessible. I don't want to see one dumbell next to the 25's and the other one in the middle of the floor.

Interestingly, most of the time the folks that dont re-rack the weights (especially the heavier ones) are the same morons that just completed a 3 rep set with horrible form and threw the weight to make sure people were watching. And when they realize that the only people who were watching were laughing at how much of an ass they were, they get pissed and just walk away. When I do my leg presses I max out the sled and go through the pain in the as of placing all the weights back. It's not exactly what i want to do after a set of heavy leg presses and I feel like I'm going to throw up, but it's common courtesy.

Regardless of who it is, if their using more then one machine it's fair game to work in when they leave.

Try having my job as a trainer. I can't workout for more then 5 minutes at a time without someone talking to me or asking a question. Some people have no clue and think your on the clock twenty four seven just for them.

Must suck, most I do is give the trainers a nod or say Hi.

My main problem is when someone sees me on Incline and I'm about probably 95% done with my workout and I'm just going for some extra volume and the faggot walks up to me and says "Hey you should be going deeper than just 90 degrees on incline" And I say "Hey maybe you should mind your own ****ing business seeing as how you can't even do 225 on inclines for 12-15 ****er"

Edit- Or when I hear someone talking about how I shouldn't be working out my calves. They're like why is he working out his calves... he's such a retard it does nothing for your looks. Well MAYBE some of us like to look ****ing good all over and not like a ****ing retard from War of the Worlds that walks around on stilt legs.

someone who only workouts chest, which then results in a monster chest and small everything else.. O wait thats only one person but still I dont get it..

Yeah...ppl make too much of ROM. TUT is much more impt.

Ever see Ronnie Coleman train? To the untrained eye he has the worst form in the world. But it makes sense. He keeps the weight moving at all times (continuous tension) and works with his natural body mechanics while lifting. And perhaps doing 800 lb deadlifts 1 week out form the olympia is what has given him the results he's gotten while his competitors have spent the entire pre-contest months lifting like a sissy ("pumping" the muscle is all you need pre-contest...my ass)

Nobody has ever had the balls to speak up and question my routine. And as far as calves go, all I gotta say is i love summer. All the summer juicers show up in pants while I show off my hard earned diamonds. Like I always say, there's bodybuilders, and guys that lift weights. Most are the latter.

Alright OCC - that one is cutting it close.

You know JBlaze only works out chest and bi's....

Aaaah, reminds me of my favorite line "sweatpants suck in the summer" I'll be in shorts!

This may have been covered but just in case. No wearing your gym pants from high school if you went back in the 70’s. The little shorts with the white piping looks bad and no one wants to see your nuts hanging out.

A guy at work did this at a NBC training. Now he has to live with his new nick name ‘Nutty”. He thinks we call him that for being crazy….Idiot.

I just had to post this somewhere! I've been at a new gym for abut 3 months or so. See this jacked up dude 3 or 4 times a week. Just a large man with freeky definition. So I'm catching a glimpse of him lift and we've worked out together for a few sets here and there. Well this dude pretty much does about half the weights I do...a little less reps and looks twice as good...THATS great! Talk about a pet peeve...oh well
