Hey guys,
I just wanted to clear something up 'for the record' as I guess at another
board there exists some controversy (albeit, I have no idea why as I do not
frequent this other board, don't like the owner/administrator and can't understand
their morbid fascination with every little thing I do or they 'think' I do) as to whom
I work for. Do I work for Author/ALRI or Rich/Gaspari Nutrition or both?
Answer (in no uncertain terms) - I work for myself and work WITH Author/ALRI and
Rich/Gaspari Nutrition sometimes jointly, sometimes independently of one another.
I'd also like to tell you that I have contracts and work WITH 2 other supplement companies
and in about 6-8 weeks there is going to be a real shocker when people see that I have
teamed up with an industry giant to do design work.
The way I look at it is simple: I will work with anyone who is genuinely interested in furthering
the safety and efficacy of the supplement market, irrespective of the name of the company they
work for or their title at said company. I seek to establish alliances, I truly think that "part of something
is better than all of nothing".
When Author asked if I would be interested in working with him I was very excited because I had read
CME, liked the book a lot and thought he was a bright, genuine guy with a lot of talent for seeing things
in a different light. I had no idea what ALRI was (yeah, so I am stupid somethimes, "Author L. Rea Industries"
*grin*). When he told me he owned ALRI I was shocked but you know what? Who cares?
I really enjoy the conversations I have with Author each week, they are fruitful and I always come away
feeling like I learned something. I hope he can say the same.
And I can state unequivocally that Author's motives (aside from obviously turning a profit) are to make solid,
cutting edge supplements that do what he and I claim they will do. That's good enough for me. It should
also be good enough for everyone else based on ALRI's track record of putting out some of the most
cutting edge, good supps in the industry.
This is not a popularity contest as much as certain people would like it to be. It's about creating good stuff
for consumers so they don't get taken in and ripped off by buying a hyped to hell supplement that does
zero or a supplement from a disreputable company that contains zero or substantially less than ingredient
than the label says it should.
I trust Author. I would not work with him or share my ideas with him if I did not. We have no written contract.
We do what we do on a handshake and that's fine with both of us obviously. So far...I am happy, I like to think
Author is happy and most importantly, I'd like to think the consumers of the products were working on jointly
are/will be happy.
Will I always work with Author and ALRI? I don't know, maybe yes, I'd like to think we'll continue to work together
on stuff in the future.
I really for the life of me do not understand why some people have such a huge issue with Author working with
me or vice versa. It's like they are worse than a bunch of old retired women sitting around a Bingo table in some
small town somewhere. Gossip, gossip, gossip! Who cares who works with whom as long as the final result is
solid, kick ass products for you guys?!? The less time we fight amongst ourselves the more time we have to devote to
R&D, right?
You know, I'd even work with "you know who" if I thought he was genuinely interested in coming out with new and
exciting products, would not somehow screw me the second my back was turned and could act in a civil manner.
Heresy you say? Like I wrote before...leave the popularity contest and personalities out of it. Judge the companies and their
alliances by the quality/safety/efficacy of their respective products.
I'm going to be working with a bunch of companies in the future. If these guys want to hate on me and say I am "latching on to
a new company" then thats fine by me.
Or maybe if they spend more time working on R&D and cool products for you folks and less time wondering what Author and I
are doing by hiding behind 3rd grade screen names on internet bulletin boards and stirring up crap they'd be less inclined to follow in Author and Gaspari's footsteps. There are a lot of really good companies out there with good people working at them.
And as you know, there are a lot of crummy, fly-by-night companies that suck wind. I'm going to work with the former. I'm going to work WITH Author and ALRI.
I'm looking forward to seeing how Ultra HOTTER works because I know what went into it and discussed this quite a bit with Author. Gaspari is NOT changing their formula, Novedex XT will remain as is for a long time.
But Author and I are working on a number of cool ideas and not all of them are hormones either.
Maybe some of these will be co-marketed under ALRI and Gaspari, some might go to one and not the other. But overall...I think
I am for the better for having come into contact with Author.
