This is the hardest and saddest Mother’s Day for me, my wife, family, and friends. My Mother passed away yesterday after a long hard fought battle with cancer. She was 89 and the best Mom I could have ever had. She was strong all the way to the end, but thankfully she is no longer suffering to that horrible disease.
In 2018 I built her an apartment in our detached garage and moved her in, she called it her bungalow. In 2023 she was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, and lived a year and half longer, with no chemo, because of her age, and only a little radiation to try and slow the growth of the tumor. The Doctors were amazed. When she was diagnosed in November of 2023 I moved her into the main house with us. Even through all the pain and suffering she always was sweet and loving and kept a positive attitude. My awesome wife helped me take care of her. She was completely bed ridden the last 4 months. But we now take comfort knowing she is in Heaven and suffering no more.

Be sure to always show your Moms love and appreciation, and always make them feel special. And be sure to show the Mother of your children, or the Woman that steps in to be a Mother to your children, the love and appreciation they deserve.
Thank you guys for your thoughts and prayers, and I truly do wish all the Mothers a Happy Mother’s Day, they are all heroes.
