Got a scrip that i did not expect

NAZ

Well I had bloodwork done to check on my health to be prepared for a job health screen and since I did mention fatique my doc tested my T also. They wrote me a scrip for Test E, 200 ml injection every other week. My main goal is to become healthy, but i am curious as to if i will see any positve sides from this low dose other than just the therapy replacement or should i request a weekly dose. Just curious never had an injectable. any advice would be appreciated.

How low was your total and free test??

Im 28 and the initial lab results were 93 and the range said 241-827. so they took a second sample to send out to another lab, havnt seen those yet.

Wow those are some horrible levels at your age or any age at that. Did you run alot of steroid cycles before? If the reading is correct than you will probably feel way better on TRT. It would suck to rely on a needle to feel good, but I kinda wish i was so I didn't need pct. Lol

yeah ive done three ph runs in 2 years time with pct...doc said it could be that plus numerous other factors.....i just hate being exhausted half way thru my day. just trying to research to see if my doc made the right choice with scrip and dosing, and if ill see any other benefits other than why prescribed

Age doesn't matter for TRT/HRT. If you're low then you're low. Same for me. My doc has me on 200mg test cypionate every five days. I went from low to 775 to1100 at it's highest . Have regular checks and make sure your doc is willing to play around with dose and timing. Good luck!!

Yes, IMO you should see some results, provided you are weight training in a thoughtful manner. I know that if I were on that dose at my age, it would make a difference and at that low of a dose going off (and thats what I would plan to do) would be easy if needed. Thankfully you seemed to have run into good medical help.

Split that dose into 100mg each week and you should be GTG. That will put most guys into the high end of normal test levels.

Yeah, it sounds good initially and I tried a patch for a while, but it didnt seem to make much of a good difference beyond a few weeks. If I go for TRT it would have to be shots, patches didnt seem to help with muscle much.

If you're low b/c your body is still suppressed , it might be better overall to use a SERM like Nolva or Clomid to try and restart your HPTA before suppressing it futher with exogenous steroids. If a restart doesn't work and you want to try TRT, consider adding hCG in or even hCG monotherapy to keep you nuts normal since you're at an age when aesthetics still really matters.

Is this primary or secondary? If it's a primary problem, a re-start will not work depending on the cause. 200mg bi-weekly will bring you into a healthy range for your age. It is a commitment, though, so keep that in mind. I know T shots are cheap, and will make a drastic difference in your quality of life. 1 shot every two weeks is nothing in comparison to feeling like a zombie. I would suggest getting a sperm analysis and maybe even banking some for the future if you do indeed decide to start the transformation. Good luck.

Good points. Baseline from 2 yrs ago would be ideal; atleast FSH/LH now. A month restart wouldn't really put him far behind, and that way he knows. Weekly vs biweekly shots with give you a smoother T level, less valleys and peaks. Let us know how it turns out. Having low T can make you feel depressed and lethargic even though you might not be realizing it. From those #s, you will feel like a new man on T.

yes i just want to be healthy so if the 200 bi weekly for 12 weeks is good then ill be happy. For awhile i was just assuming i was always fatiqued due to furniture delivery for 10+ hrs a day, so when i had bloodwork done i was not expecting low t
