if bin laden acquires a nuclear weapon, he only has the religious authority to kill 10 million americans, whew!

Michael Scheuer, who once headed the CIA's bin Laden unit, says bin Laden has been given permission by a young cleric in Saudi Arabia authorizing al Qaeda to "use nuclear weapons against the United States ... capping the casualties at 10 million."

"He's had an approval, a religious approval for 10 million deaths?" I asked him.

"Yes," Scheuer responded.

man those clerics really are showing remarkable restraint by only authorizing a stingy 10 million deaths. peace by upon them.

There is no "if". This reality already exists. However, it is a better threat/propaganda tool then an offensive weapon. Keep in mind that this man is not stupid and understands how to manipulate peoples fears. Sadly it is quite possible to detonate a nuclear device on our soil. I am sure part of the reason this is an unlikely senario is due to:
1)Various repercussions
2)Al-Quaida is very much operating on a independent "cell" system and has been for some time. A large undertaking such as this would be difficult to coordinate
3)Major loss of political and religious support if such a nightmare occured.

i would just say one less virgins in paradise for every one million of americans killed over ten million.

You should add four, a possible and maybe even probably general incompetence that means they aren't likely to pull off anything big that often. Of course they only need to get it right once.

that's the sad part, they only have to do it once, and they're patient. They just better pray to allah that our nukes malfunction and spare their asses a little longer if that did happen.
 
people that practice islam have so many fundamental hatreds against america and our way of life that i feel many of the middle eastern countries pose a threat to our lives.

Every true muslim believes
a. people that do not practice islam are infidels
b. allah either wants these people converted, or killed

its kill or be killed. i say wipe that entire section of the world off the map. their backward ways are a detriment to all of humanity
