Good diet

You don't hafta run 3 miles every single night either. Mags, how many calories do you eat a day?

I don't count cals, I eat 180g protein/day , 90g carbs/day, not counting my veggies which I eat 6 times a day, and 2 servings of good fat/day...
I drink 4liters of water/day, blk coffee, and skim milk 1 glass/ day in the off season... I alternate my proteins with each meal..
And once a week I eat BIG lol...

I lift 6 times/week, I don't do cardio, just to warm up(10-15min)..
I save cardio for the on season...( I hate it, lol)
And I was fat before, lol.. I was a porker sitting at 185lbs in 2011, ha ha... Being I'm only 5.4

Mag or Sean? One more question my goal is too go to the gym early in the morning, I know I need to eat carbs before I go and maybe carbs after also, I want to eat 25 g carbs before I go then work out then come home and eat 25 more carbs with 8eggs whites is that a good idea???

What I was thinking is eating 25g carbs "oatmeal" before work out and 8egg whites before going to gym work out then when I get back eat another 25g carbs then continue my day what you think??

I want to start with 2200 per day? Should I go more?

Remember your TDEE, that's how many calories a day you need to maintain weight. Eat SLIGHTLY less, as in like 200 calories less, to lose weight. More than TDEE to gain muscle.

You need more carbs than just oatmeal.

You can lose weight and still enjoy food

Sounds good thank for the help you have made a huge difference on the way my thinking has come, I broke down my body for the past year and now it's time to build it right, thank you Sean

Make it easy for yourself. Eat whatever the hell you want. Just keep it whole foods, lean meats, and good carbs.

I would do more carbs from fruit on top of the oatmeal n the 25g of protein :)
But that's just me..
And post workout I like a protein shake with almond milk , half of frozen banana, 3 strawberries, a tbs of all natural peanut butter, and BCAA's, Glutamine etc, yum...
