Want to track Body Fat at home and want to make sure i don't buy junk. Are they all about the same?

No they vary quite substantially. Generally the Accu-measure skinfold callipers are considered the best for their price:

The very best you can buy are Harpenden Skinfold callipers (used by professionals) but they'll set you back about $450.

I have the SlimGuide From Creative Health Products - my guess is, it's between the two above. Cost about $15, 12 years ago. NOT designed for self-checking, but can be worked with.
