In May, wondering if you guys could suggest some cool gym/supplement/food related places to potentially check out.

I have been to New York before (7years ago) but I wasn't into working out nor the wonders of a good dirty cheat meal.

So I'm all ears!

Ice Cream:
Ample Hills --> Nonna D Oatmeal Lace, It Came from Gowanus, Munchies, Commodore all 10/10. Salted Crack Caramel is their top seller.
Oddfellows
Van Leeuwen --> cookie dough vegan is their best flavor.

Bakery:
Levain --> best cookies and breads you will find in NYC
Molly's Cupcakes --> 7 layer bar and cupcakes

Places to go:
Emmy Squared --> Pizza (Detroit style) and Burgers (on Pretzel Rolls)
Paulie Gee's --> Neopolitan Pizza (Hellboy, Ricotta you be kidding me, Monte Cristo all good choices)
Faicco's italian deli --> Legit Subs

Doughnuts --> Doughnut Project

Nah man, Van Leeuwen's vegan Peanut Butter and Chocolate Chip is better. Agree with all Ample Hill suggestions (personal favorites are Oatmeal Lace and It Came from Gowanus) and Levain is a must.

Dine at The Modern inside MoMa if you're looking for a very reasonably priced fine dining experience

That's nothing. If it is still around hit the Carnegie Deli for a hot pastrami on rye. Over a foot high of protein.

Where in New York? Safe to assume you mean NYC? As far as gyms go, if I were in NYC, I'd probably hit up Bev's Powerhouse, which is in Syosset.

Yeah NYC, staying just down the road from the NY times building.

I will definitely check out all the places mentioned

Especially the pastrami place!

Keep the suggestions rolling

Ok so the pastrami place has closed...

Just drifting through Instagram pics, they did look good too!

I work in Manhattan my man upper west side ...few good places to go

Artichoke Pizza and or Lombardis Pizza---both easy to get to from where your staying
LEvain cookies--usually have a 20-30 minute wait and its worth every single minute
Carmines--family style italian food its really great price for what you get cool atmosphere ---been going there for years
Tony DInapolis--similar to carmine just see what you can get a reservation/less packed
Mighty Quinns BBQ---make some great ribs and mac and cheese

Quality italian---steakhouse/home of a chicken parm that looks like a pizza---insanely good

only cool supplement/food place is Eva's

Just been to NYC last week, and documented myself properly on the best cheat food before going there:

- Katz Deli is a MUST
- John's Pizza
- Artichoke Pizza
- Luger Steakhouse
- Gallagher Steakhouse

There's rarely a line at the Levain by Columbia IME

the one on 116th street in 8th in the middle of Harlem( use to work over there) thats why its never crowded.. the one on 74 and amsterdam is always crowded... heard there is another one going up like 81 and amst... Regardless worth the weight
