Unanswered Going straight into cut after bulk

So I’m making good progress on my bulk. Oddly enough even at 3,700cal I noticed I’m sticking to about 179lbs after my workouts but will check fasted weight tomorrow.
Eating dirty here and there just to get the calories in but not going crazy, just enjoying myself here and there.
My question is though, how many of you will go into a cruise after running your bulking cycle and maintain for a bit then cut, and how many of you would cut at the end of your bulk? Like I’m on 400 test, 200 Deca. I’m making good gains just off this dose which is awesome, I feel great! Well, aside from a back and bicep injury but that’s another post. My first thought is to go down to 200mg test and cruise a couple weeks after I stop the Deca, eat how I’ve been eating or just eat at maintenance. The second thought would be to drop the Deca at the end, add some var and drop to 2,500 calories and keep my test high THEN cruise on 200mg test after 6-8 weeks of var and cutting my diet back. This idea is honestly just the greedy meat head in me. I feel like I should cut some fat off first THEN utilize my var so it makes more of an impression on my physique or gets me through that fat loss plateau. I am holding a bit of water but my stomach is getting a little puffy and honestly I’m eager to burn the fat leftover on my chest. No gyno, just used to be fat as hell so I have a little left over there.

Anyways what’re your thoughts on going straight into a cut? I see the flaws but am curious to your answers.

Here’s a pic I took today. I had to take a week off of lifting due to illness and now it’s my first full week back but now I’ve managed to pull my left rhomboid! Last time I tore my right one and I still have issues. Just pushing through the pain the best I can at the moment, may order some bpc but not sure yet.

As for cutting I would still be on cycle and I would do it immediately after the bulk. But nothing drastic. Just a 500 - 750kcal deficit. If you are not gaining anymore at 3700 this is good for a cut because this mean your metabolism is really fast atm and it will be really easy to lose fat. This is why I recommend doing a cut right after a bulk.

I don't know at which bf% you are at and what is your goal though and if you are willing to prolong the cycle for a whole one or two months in order to properly cut. How much fat you got/want to lose? Dropping from 3700 to 2500 is a waste imo. That's a 1200kcal deficit for you atm. Drop to 3000 first and when the fat loss stalls, drop to 2750, then 2500... If you drop to 2500 at the start, you are not giving your self enough headroom, know what I mean?

As for the androgens; the more you will have in your serum the easier it will be to cut obviously. Especially the more DHT you have, the more energy you'll have. So I would do var for 8 weeks but taper the dose. Start with 25mg's and end with what ever you are comfortable with. 50, 65, 75, ... ? Me personally, I would start with 25 and end with 65 max. Beyond that it's just cramp and pumps town for me. No way to actually run, do proper working sets, etc. Even 50 can be borderline for me. So I would keep the test and deca and add var for the last 8 or 6 weeks. I would maybe even upp the deca. I haven't used deca yet though, so can't comment on how good of a nutrient partitioner it is. Cutting sucks and for me, the more help you get the better. But if you are ordering new stuff then why not order some cjc1295dac, GH will help a lot with fat loss. And IMO, screw the bpc.

Bpc is just for the injuries, helps a lot when I mess my back up. I think I’m around 14-16%bf at the moment, not as vascular as I’d like but that’ll change when I drop the fat and water. Yeah you’re right about the deficit, I need to drop down slowly. How would IGF-1 LR3 do with fat loss?

You seem like you have the same metabolism as I do and it works great for people like us. I went from 179 to 205 and as soon as I reach 210 ima cut down my calories from 4k to maintenance which is 3000 and I’ll move down to 2700. I’ll add a few things aiming to go from 13-% to 10% before going on cruise and upping calories a bit again.

Thanks! Yeah I noticed after adding Deca my metabolism is insane. I’m hot 24/7 and my wife is getting pissed because I sweat constantly and mess up our sheets lmao. Whole bed smells like a gym bag. I want to reach 200lbs then cut down but I’m going to have to throw more fats and dirty stuff in if I’m gonna do that because I don’t have enough time with the dad life to eat properly at the volume I need to. I’m not super worried about fat gain because I burn it off pretty fast, gotta get a little chubby to get big haha.

I know it's just for that, but I don't really know of a lot of people that got much use from it. But if it helps you then by all means go for it.


How would IGF-1 LR3 do with fat loss?

No idea. Probably not the much if any at all. Just use a peptide to get more GH and do fasted cardio with the GH, it helps a ton.
Also, if deca is revving you up that much then I would for sure use it for the cut!
