Going hypo THAT fast?

You all know how the holidays are, drink, eat eat, and eat again. Chocolate, cake, and some goodies so full of sugar you almost develop a insulin resistance during this week of binging. Well, all of this brings me to say the following: If you took some time off, ( I took 1 week off) for the familly, and/or friends, and to take some time to relax, just be carefull on your following training. I have no idea why, but I took mypre wo meal like I usually do (last time was 1 week before) and after a few exercises, I could have sworn I was in a hypo state. I was seeing these black spots all over the place. Feeling weak. I took some Gatorade, and bam I was good to go. So maybe 1 week of bad eating does really affect you! Maybe you're getting used to all these carb overloads, that when you go back to your 40-40-20, your body simply waits for you to get some hi GI carbs to fuel it. Pretty weird I must say, but it feels so good to get back to lifting, I never took a week off before, and I will never do it again :)

I have definitely noticed the same hypo feeling after eating junk foods for more than one day in a row, I can't imagine what a week would do to me. I normally just get light headed and my vision gets a little blurry, never saw the black spots.

This is some good info. hopefully people won't get to scared when returning to the gym next week.

I've experienced this before, but I didn't break my diet (AD) during the holidays at all, so I feel fortunate.
