Going for a run with MMV2+H-Drol

Had a fast and furious shoulder routine today. One question though that I am asking is what is alternative to doing DB press? I tried Smith over head presses and it felt strange. Like it was too far in front of me, though I was going right in front of my face. I didn't quite feel the press in my front delts. Though I did do seated DB press one at a time and that was tough. Holding the opposite DB while pressing was rough. I did manage to get through the sets of 12,12,10 with 60,70,75's.
That made me warm up in the fronts but I am still needing heavier DB's for regular presses as I am able to handle the big boys for sets of 8-10. We have no Hammer Strength shoulder press machine which I really enjoyed because it hit the right spots and it could be loaded right up with weight.

But what was killer was the plate raises with the twist at the top. Used the 45's then a drop to the 25's. HUGE pump! Got 12 out of the 45's and then another 10 out of the 25's. The twist is killer. It really gives an extra squeeze at the top.
The we did the rest of the sides, rears and another press at the end. Racked for 10 each set.
Final sets were BB up rights and shrugs super setted.

A good day. Still feeling really good through this PCT. Strength is consistent if not gaining. Food intake has been better and I have been a bit more hungry lately. Staying motivated by the rest of you guys.
 
I worked out shoulders this AM as well. I like the plate raises as well and tried them with the twist last week.

Glad to hear your PCT is going well. Keep the calories pretty high, but clean to ensure you keeo your gains.

Thanks bro. I have been eating it up and cleaning it up too. I miss the sweet junk but I have been feeling better.

How did you like the twist on those plate raises? It feels like my front delts will hit my ears when I do them. The pump is pretty serious.
Do you stick with DB's for shoulder press or a machine? I need a change up and that SMith press didn't really do it for me.
 
Good ole BB press with my twist. You need a power rack for it though. Set the pins so the BB is at your chin when resting on them. I call it a dead press. Basically, you bring the bar down and rest it on the pins and have to get it moving again from a dead stop. Explode up and do a very slow negative. You will not be able to do the same weight that you use when doing regular BB presses.....give them a try and tell me what you think Matt!

And I will throw some Arnold's in possibly at the end too G. I used to do those and hated them so much that I quit them. But if you hate them then they are working.

The twist on the plate raises definately finish you off. I like them, but used it as a lift to pull out of the bag every once in a while to ensure I feel the burn.

I also like the hammer strength shoulder press machine. It allows you to go pretty heavy and keep the negatives slow.

I have been doing the twist for a while and may go to holding the plate out on the last few reps as a change. We have a hard core chick who holds here 25 in front of herself and looks at herself through the hole in the plate for ten seconds on her last 5 reps! Super tough! I may check that but don't want to look like a punk next to her.

And I wish we had that hammer machine. The old club I went to had all that stuff. I could load that thing up and hit some reps for sure. That and the hammer decline machine was good for that. Fill that thing up with 45's and rep it up.

How are you feeling down there in that Texas heat? And the back?

It was pretty hot and humid yesterday. Today it is in the 60s and rainy. Figures because I had a party planned at the house and was going to heat the new pool. No sense in heating it with the damn rain.

The back is doing great and has been a non issue now for 2 weeks. I don't have the ache in my ass cheek, ankle or hamstring anymore. I guess there goes any excuses. LOL

CHEST/TRIS

I am feeling GOOD during the PCT. I have been maintaining strength minimally and in reality gaining this entire time. I think it has to do with more/better food but I also believe that the combo of PCT supps. has certainly helped.

We went for our normal chest/tri routine day. Did our warm up and I decided to go a bit heavier on the SMith presses than we have been going. I had been doing all my sets for 10 but today I dropped reps and added some weight to test the big boy waters. I warmed with one 45 on each side. Then added another. Then had 2 45's and a 25 for 5. Then went to 3 45's on each side for 5. Then felt a bit chipper and slapped on 3 45's on each side and a 25. I cranked out 5 reps easily really. I was quite pleased with the weight used and the reps being thrown up. I haven't gone heavier like this in some time so it was a good feeling to handle some weight.
We moved on to cable crosses for reps to force some blood. Then onto DB presses. I lowered the weight here a little too and did 3 sets of 8 reps. Started with 85's went to 95' then 105's.
Then DB flyes, more for a stretch than weight. My chest was popping out of the top of my shirt by this time.
Then we went to dips. 3 sets of 10. Triceps were feeling it.
Then to the pec dec for a squeeze to the lower chest. I realized that I need to add more weight to this machine and will do so. I badly wish we had a hammer strength decline machine but I'll live.

Then it was on to the tricep rope machine for 8 sets of 8 reps. This is where I am really seeing some strength and endurance increase. I had completed the entire pyramid with 9 plates so I was moving in uncharted territory by adding the 10th plate. I did get through the 8 sets this week so I guess the entire movement was technically a PR. I did add some rest time in between and did go shallow on some sets but over all I have never handled that amount of weight for that length of sets. My arms were going to explode clean off. HUGE pump.

Finished with some push downs and ropes for extra pain and left spent.

So all in all it was an awesome workout. Big weights, strong sets and great pump. I'm staying on track and making some nice gains. Also following the rest of you guys for added motivation.

I am using the Formex. I asked a bunch of questions to NattyDisaster when he had a thread going in the PCT area. I started with 50 mg/day. 1 cap AM and PM. I am now doing one cap/25mg/day at noon time. I have no complaints at all in any area. THe boys were never an issue and I have been feeling really good during this PCT. I still have a few Formex and PCS left that I am taking.

I am still debating the start of my T-911/Anadraulic State run. Time will tell.

Are you thinking of adding Formex to your PCT as well?
 
I actually have the Formex sitting in my supp drawer. I am going to finish out this Glycobol before running it. I am thinking out the 1AM, 1PM thing as well to see how it treats me.

Yes, I will be using Formex for my PCT. I will probably do a 25,50,50,25 for the first 4 weeks and keep it at 25 until gone. T-911 will be rocking from the begining and I am not sure on the Torem yet. I really don't feel much difference libido wise and the boys are still looking fine. I actually might have to bump my 1-Andro dose up. I will give it another week at 600mg and decide from there. Glad to see you tearing it up. The cycle went great!!

How long is your run total? 6 weeks? I'd save any decision RE dosage till week 4 begins big guy.

Only enough product for a 4 week run. 1 week in the books already so I will go another week and see where it goes.

That sounds like a good plan to me. I have been keeping it at 25/day until the bottle is gone. I have maybe 10 or 15 left. I would think that the Formex and T-911 would work well together.

And as long as you are feeling well libido wise and boys are hanging in there why change it up? And why not bump it up for a bit? Give it a shot.

I think one week is way to short for 1-Andro for a bump. At least give it two. Plus ramping is going to shorten your cycle by a few days....

I agree TL. That is why I will ride with the 600mg for another week and see what plays out. Yes, it will shorten the run but, if the bump up starts bringing some nice results I would not have a problem buying another bottle. Let's see what happens this week.

Yeah, that's the key. Feel free to grab another bottle before you hit the PCT.
