Going for a run with MMV2+H-Drol

That father talk cracked me up. I remeber as a punk kid learning karate and getting to big for my britches my dad said "you might know karate, but I know tire tool". That still sticks with me.

As a father of sons I would rather die than to lose their respect. That being said I have many years before I have to cross that bridge.

I don't think you have to worry bout that man.

I've been close to that with my pops in the past, but no one is perfect. Don't judge a man till you walk a mile in his shoes.

I'm sorry - where are you at again Matty? The weather has done the exact same thing here. I actually would love if it did this all summer. Couple blast days of heat (on the weekend) then cool off for the work week (so I don't sweat my nuts off in a suit)...

Amen on the caffiene blast. Have you been taking your blood pressure? I know most people will advise to refrain from caffiene on cycle, but I'm no longer one of them (I know you're in PCT). I love caffiene.

Being from Dallas I am used to hot fuggin weather. It routinely gets over 100 for weeks straight. I had the pleasure to visit New York during the summer a few years ago. I sweat my ass off up there. Most of the bars and resturants we went to were open and not really air conditioned. In Dallas, you go places inside to avoid the heat and they keep the AC blasting.

I am up in CT. Right near the Mohegan Sun. Just a short trip up the Metro North line from the Dirty Apple.
I wouldn't mind the temp shift like we've had either. And I can't imagine you trying to commute with the suit on in that heat. Subway in the heat? Just the smell would be enough for me. I can see where you could snap on people.

I do love the caffeine as well. And I did follow the suggested mass advice of not taking it on cycle. I missed it so badly. I would sneak in coffee every once in a while. The wife would make a cup and then I couldn't resist. She bought us that single cup coffee maker with the K-cups. It's awesome! Makes the piping hot Joe so fast and there's no clean up. So I would sneak it. But it is my favorite thing before the gym. Take a caffeine pill and by the time I get there its on!

Silver, you've got an entire different view on heat being down there. That is HEAT! Though we have roasted up pretty good the past few summers. But its the humidity here that kills me. Walk outside and you are wet. Great with a lady, bad when I'm going to work.

And the AC down there better be strong. I remember my cousin going there and he said you warm up your car to start the AC like we do in the winter to defrost. He said it is seriously intense. I love some strong AC. Keeps the bat wings away. :yuck:

Candy Arses...come on out to AZ with me if you want some heat! 90's are considered cool days here. I remember the day I moved in and it was 118. I had left a metal lamp outside to long and grabbed it...friggin blistered my hand. I do prefer this heat to the heat we had in Miami though. There you just drip all day...

Now that is heat! I don't really mind heat but that drippy humidity is what really sucks. I hate coming out of AC'd areas and then you start to instantly drip. We went to a Red Sox game and got out of the car and it was 101 and about 70% humidity. Horrible. A woman at the game actually died from the heat. We were well saturdated with beers though. And we were on teh shaded side of the park. Lucky.

I bet that lamp was fun to grab. Instant blister.

F*ck the Red Sox.

All the fans should die at the game, and it should translate for Celtics fans too.

No, I hear that. I am a Yankee guy myself but I wasn't going to miss out on a chance to watch them lose and cruise the Beantown area for all the hot young college chicks. They are all up there having sex, with somebody. The T is jammed with hot tail going to the games. Unreal.

And the Celtics are just as bad. F them. I do like the Pats though. But am really split with the Giants because we get coverage for both about equal. NFC Giants, AFC Pats.

And I think the chick who died was pregnant but the baby lived. crazy.

Oh, that's sad. Of course I was kidding...

I have heard that the college babes at the Sox games are out of control. May have to go up there to Fenway one of these days. I think I'm due in Boston next month for a client visit.

No, I know you kid, you kid! But what are you doing at the game, 101 degress and prego? Laws of averages are not in your favor. Sad but...

And the chicks are unreal. My wife lived up there for 2 years and it was a kneck breaker riding the T into town. She lived up near BC/BU and that train was packed. And in the summer at Fenway when the pink hats come out? Forget about it. Make it a stop. Even the bars before are huge. Cask and Flagan on Lanzdown Street. Perfect.

Through the wise advice of Timber I am going to start to post up some of my daily food intake here in hopes that you guys could offer some pointers. I am trying to start to change the food I eat in order to drop a few lbs at a slow rate.

So far today:
1 cup oats
Shake scoop of Whey scoop of Casein in water with morning supps.
9:30. Box o' raisins. No fruit in the house! I need to hit the store.
12 Turkey on one piece of stone ground wheat.
1 cup of LF cottage cheese
2:30 greek yogurt

And last night for dinner I had 6 eggs and mushrooms and onions in an omlette. 3 yolks and 3 whites. yummy. and a little sweet potatoe.

I'll start putting these in the day after to get the entire meal plan in from the day before.

Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm still baffled by your diet... I feel like most days I double up on you. Looking forward to a couple days of data so we can get down to it.

String together a bunch of those days and you should be on your way.

I hear you. Believe me, when I read these bulking logs and dudes are eating their faces off and aren't gaining weight. It drives me nuts!

I'll keep it up and see what you guys think.

SHOULDERS/LEGS

Into the second full week of PCT. Feeling good and the weights are still moving nicely.

Legs went as regular. Nothing special to report. Good pumps and calves were ready to burst as usual.

Shoulders went well again. Though I was dragging a bit after the legs and it being a friday afternoon. But seated presses were strong. 3 sets of 10 moving up in DB's from 80,85,90. Last set was pretty tough to grind those 10 out.
Did some side laterals. Moderate weight to force some blood in. 3 sets of 10-15 reps.
Then we did plate raises with a bit of a twist. I jsut read in FLex that some guy does them and at the top he turns the plate like he's driving a car so your hands are under the other. So we did this. 10 reps with the 45 and a drop to 10 reps with the 25. And if you have never tried this it is frickin' tough! It raises that front delt and almost pinches it but the pump was brutal. This is when the sweat started to pour.
After that it was pec dec rear delts. I also changed my grip to an under hand style. Or reversed? Instead of gripping the handle regular you put your hands pinkies on top. I felt it kept my arms in a good groove and hit the rears nicely.
Then we went over to machine side laterals. 3 sets 10-15 reps. Pump was getting big.
Then another set of rear delts on a machine. Seated with 45's. 3 sets till failure.
After that it was seated over head press. These have been a nice finished really. Hit the mid stack as a starter but nailed the stack for the final2 sets of 10. Going to have to go old school and put weights on the handles.
We finished with a superset of up right wide rows to hit the sides and traps and shrugs. 3 sets of 10 on the rows and the shrugs to failure.

Overall a good lift. I felt good and strong for most of the time. Caught a second wind after the initial tiredness after legs. By the end I was pouring sweat and spent. I think the combo of the Formex and PCS is working well. Feel good and I will be starting the Lean Extreme this week as well. PCT is going strong as am I so its a good thing.

Time to watch the Yankee's beat the Angel's again. Hopefully.

This is an OTC pct right Matt? Sounds like a winner right now. It's always funny how slight adjustments can make the lift so different.

This is all OTC my friend. Though I had a lengthy discussion with GMG about a SERM I chose OTC after my first experience went well. No disrespect towards him but I thought with these compounds I'd be cool this route. And so far so good!

And yea, that plate raise twist, literally, is brutal! Check it out if you want some punishment.

Will do on my next shoulder day.

I love me some plate raises. I will try the twist portion next time as they sound brutal.

Are you noticing the formex? That is next on my todo list.

I have just started the plate raises maybe like 6 weeks ago? I had used ropes, DB's or Bbells. But the plates are the real deal. The drop part of it is really tough. You are losing 20 pounds but that second set of 10- or 12 is tough.
And the new twist? Forget it! I really noticed a pinch or sweet spot pump with the turn. Flex mag always has something good for me each month.

And the Formex? I'm not sure what I'm supposed to notice. I've noticed that my strength has not declined and my endurance is still strong. Plus the combo of post cycle support with it I think is making this PCT a breeze. All of the manly functions work great so I can't complain. I think its worth checking out for yourself for sure. The price is nice and it can't hurt.

Diet Saturday.

Started with the usual.
1 cup oats and a shake. I scoop Whey 1 Casein.
Snack at 10 was Apple.
Lunch at 12:30 Turkey on one slice of stone ground wheat.
1 cup LF cottage cheese.
3:30 kids Dora yogurt on the way to the grocery.
6:00 Cooked some Cod on the grill. Also had a stuffed scallop lump thing. yummy but a treat as well. The cod was awesome. I could eat that everyday if I wanted to pay up for it. Had quite a portion of that but now I could eat more. It doesn't bloat me up.
And later I'll have a shake before bed to prepare for tomorrow's Back and Bi's workout.

Thats how it goes today. It was a good day especially since the weekends is where I tend to struggle. But we had a schedule to follow and it helped keep me on track with no real time to snack in between.

BACK/BI's

Woke up feeling good today. Had the morning shake and oats and off to the gym.
Warmed up on the bike for 15. Had a little warm feeling from the caffeine. Began with 3 sets of chins. Managed, with no straps, 8,6,5. My fore arms were taking a beating as well as my hands.
Went to the Hammer pull down machine. I moved my hands to the higher part of the grip where they are facing each other rathan than facing the ceiling. Much harder to pull the weight that way. But I hit 3 sets, lighter weight for 10 reps each. The last 2 sets were with 2 45's on each side. felt like a ton.
Then to wide grip incline rows. Pull right to the middle of my gut and it hits a sweet spot in the upper back. Not too much stress on the rear delts but some. But a good pump there. Did 3 sets with half the stack, 10 reps each.
Then we did some wide V-bar pull downs behind the neck. Lighter weight but forced some blood right into my arm pits it felt. I like the blood being shot into there before doing the heavy t-bar rows.
T-bars were done heavy. Started with 2 45's for 10. Went up from there 10 reps each. Ended with 5 plates for a set of 12! Stregth has not been an issue during this PCT. I about passed out after and had to brace myself and breathe in through the nose for a minute or so. But the pump was there and in full effect.

BI's
Started with some heavy BB curls. And dare I say (Timber) that I did them in the squat rack! But I started with 135 for a set of 8. Added tens and did 6. Then added 5's and managed another 6. First time in a while that I have curled heavier like that. It was decent. The muscle fatigue set in rather quickly with that heavier weight.
Moved onto alternating db curls. 50,60,65. Got around 8-10 with each set. Arms were really feeling it now. Especially my fore arms and into my elbow.
Finished with some one arm preacher DB's. 40's till failure on each. Didn't take long.
Did some abs at the end and we were OUT!

Now off to savor the rest of this weekend. Weather's cool and a bit gray. Perfect to do some yard stuff.

This might sound stupid, but I think you'd lose weight by slowly eating more... Looks like you're eating about 1800 calories.

I think TL is gold here. Your metabolism would speed up with more frequent and smaller meals thru-out the day. Your metabolism shuts down because it doesn't think it will be fed again for awhile and you just loaded it down with a big meal. Sound rational guys?

I will make some adjustements. Thanks to both of you. I feel like I am eating all the time.
I usually eat like every 3 hours or so during the week and the weekends are a bit harder to keep on track.
So, add more... protein? Veggies? Fruit? I feel full in between meals but am ready to eat when the next one comes by. This is the worst part of doing what we do.

And AZ, the new Avi?? WOW.

Thanks Matt. I agree on the eating being the hardest part here. Sadly though, it plays the biggest part as far as the results. I would just work on getting at least 1.5 g of protein per LB of body weight a day. Break that down into the number of times you would need to eat a day if you figure on 50g protein meals and you have 9 meals(300 lb). I never snack. I always have protein with every meal I eat. Then go carbs early in the day and veggies later. Protein shakes fill in the gaps and really are considered my snacks. Of course you can get more detailed on things but, start there and see where you see things headed. Clean and lean bubba!!

Thanks. I appreciate your insight as your results speak for themselves. I have been on the high protein kick for quite a while. I think you are onto something with having to eat more meals. I am shveling 6 down now but may need to go more towards that 9 number. I have also taken your advice with the carbs early and then the veggie load at night. I go to bed sleepy! No carbs is a rough way to go. But the best I think, at least late.

I will look into making these changes and see what happens. I am looking for a slow steady change so I don't start to feel terrible and then quit the changes. Thanks again!

So, AZ, not asking for total trade secrets but how are you getting those 50 g's of pro in each meal? Could you give me a rough outline of what your diet plan looks like? I feel like I am eating and drinking all day now. but not enough apparently.

50 grams is easy.... big chicken breast, lean beef, deli meat...

I eat eggs like they are going out of fashion. Really easy to measure out the amount of protein you are getting.

TL and G beat me to it. I eat alot of chicken breasts(at least 2 e/d) just because they are fairly inexpensive. Eggs are one of my favorite things to eat(whole with whites). My snacks consist of a protein shake, one immediately upon rising and usually one pre-bed. I treat myself to ground sirloin burgers a couple days a week...mostly grilled on weekends. Carbs are mostly rice, WW bread, and oats. My wife and son say I am the most boring eater in the world! Hey, it tastes good to me...

I've been doing a ton of deli meats lately... lean chicken or turkey in a WW wrap with some yellow mustard and a ton of spinich... Sometimes I throw in some turkey bacon or a turkey hotdog up in that b*tch.

If I am scrounging for something late I will sit down with some deli pan roasted turkey breast and throw it down with some mustard.

Ahh!
Ask and I shall receive. You guys are the best. I have been mixing in all those foods for the longest time. My wife tells me the same thing AZ, boring eater! I do have the same breakfast everyday and basically the same lunch. I'll have to start adding in some more eggs and stuff like that. Hard boiled during the day. I do love me some eggies.
And the deli meat is one of my favorites. A good sandwich is the king lunch in my book. I want to go to Katz's and get the pastrami on rye next time I'm in the Dirty Apple. Saw it on the tube, looked unreal.

Thanks for the advice fellas. I will spice it up and turn up the heat in the furnace.

CHEST TRI's

Just a quick PCT check in.
Still feeling very good. Formex is now 25mg/day and PCS is still 2 AM 2 PM. I have added some extra protein into the diet as per the advice of some of the boards finest. I am feeling good and the weight is steady.
Made it through the routine though my workout partner (Dad) dogged me and never showed up. So I was a bit pist and had some extra motivation. Banged out the required movements alone though I think I went faster because I was by myself. I did feel like I could go faster as my endurance is still very high. Dips were a stand out as I was able to get 3 sets of 10,10,14 on the final set. Very surprised. Went till failure after the second set of 10 felt easy. That and my Smith incline presses were strong as well. Final set with 3 plates on each side for 10 reps was border line easy. I'm not sure whether I want to increase the weight or reps so that decision will be made at a future date.
Tri's went well too. 8 sets of 8 on the rope machine went very well. Had 9 plates on the stack and I was able to grind out all the sets very slow and with an absolute full range of motion. That is the tell tale sign to move up in weight so next week 10 plates it is. But the pump was huge and felt like I had a knife in the back of my arm.

So all in all it was a good day. Big pumps and big weights. I also saw the T-911 on a different site for 27.99. I am waiting for them to get the Anadraulic State in stock and will run that as my next stack of stuff. I am more than excited for that to happen. Waiting sucks.

Big Matty... found some of that Chobani.

Little less viscous, but about 2 bucks less per pound than the FAGE stuff I've been buying. Good call.

Im new to this site and i don't meen to sound ignorant but what is the main ingredient in H-DROL? I'm asking because ive got a bottle of cyclo bolan and it says it has 2 different compounds in it. 1 is 15mg. of 2a,17a dimethyl 5a androst 3 one 17 b-ol. and the other is 12.5 mg. of 4 chloro 17a methyl androst-1,4 diene 3 17b-diol. ive been taking 2 a day for 10 days and upped the dose to 3 a day,its been a total of 13 days now and i dont feel any different. Should I up it again?? Im sick of wasting my money on stuff that dont work. do you have any suggestions for me?

I'm going to answer this because you are headed for disaster.

Otherwise, take questions like this to your own thread.

Superdrol-2a,17a dimethyl 5a androst 3 one 17 b-ol
Halodrol - 4 chloro 17a methyl androst-1,4 diene 3 17b-diol

The halodrol in that compound is underdosed and the superdrol is overdosed in my opinion. 2 pills a day should be the max that you are taking.

I have no opinion on the product quality, but if those ingredients are in fact actually what is stated, you should notice a difference from 30mg of superdrol, and no you should not be at 45mg superdrol, and most definately should not go to 4 pills for 60mg. THIS WOULD BE A BAD THING TO DO.

Good god...

Like your sign on says...CHRIST! And you did not know what was in it??

I imagine his PCT is going to be stellar as well...

I hope he is pondering his next move with a little more research...

Thank you guys for taking care of this ridiculous question. I couldn't even begin to start to say how much of a bad idea that was. G, you nailed it and in quite professional way. I can't wait to see what that dude comes up with next. Yikes.
A little research is being nice AZ. A LOT of research before posting that question would have been appropriate.
