Glycobol => Cutting with 1 pill a day

I have a trial sized bottle of glycobol with 28 caps and am on a hardcore cut right now. Total calories are around 1800, which for me is pretty low. I weight 205 and have around 15% bf.

I am flexible in terms of the timing of my meals. I did both "small amounts of carbs during the day" (40-50 grams per meal) as well as "little carbs on most meals and then most of the carbs in the mail meal of the day"type of cutting diets. Both work, and I have not seen much of a difference with either approach while cutting. (this would not work while bulking of course. When you are taking 600 grams of carbs on a bulk, you should not eat most of it in one meal. I am talking cut here).

If I am willing to schedule my meals to maximize the efficacy of the glycobol, how should I time my meals and when should I use the glycobol (only 1 cap per day)?

Would it be best to do "most carbs in one meal" approach and take the glycobol 30 min prior to that meal?

Other suggestions?

Thanks

I'd do the most carbs in one meal approach to maximize the glycogen loading. You may have to increase the carbs at this feeding, though, to avoid crash.

IF your doing one cap per day i would do it with your dinner (if it includes carbs.) or the last carb meal of your day.

if not consuming carbs i would do it pre bed or pre cardio

This^ If you workout in the morning(ideal) this would be great for the post workout meal. then you could low/no carb meal it throught the rest of the day.

Dude, a little heads up...at 205lbs and 15% you are not going to do your body any good at 1800cals lol You probably wont even budge, if you do you'll stall before you can blink, if you lose it'll be muscle AND your suffering at that low for no reason for the reasons I just stated. YOu would "work" your way down to that over time. But if it works it works lol

OK, let me ask a slightly broader question

I posted as soon as the product came in the mail and only now see that the directions actually say you should take 2 capsules before a meal (I thought you took just one cap each time). Given that I have 28 capsules, how should I use it? Use it once a day at one cap each time (28 days), or take 2 caps 1 time per day (it will last 14 days that way, obviously)?

Based on prior comments I am thinking: Train early during the day, on a mostly empty stomach, with whey before and maybe a little during the workout. Then, with 30 min prior to the end of the workout take the glycobol (either 1 cap or two caps depending on comments and suggestions) and as soon as workout ends eat 100 grams of complex carbs.

Does this sound best?

Thanks a lot WWBoy,

What do you think is the maximum amount of carbs one can eat while taking only 1 pill? Probably very hard to tell without trying but do you think a total of 150 grams of complex carbs in one meal will still be ok with 1 pill?

I think 150 grams at one time is way too much I have gone through 3 jars of 120 caps of Glycobol in the past and you can definately dose 1 cap a day and the way you want
to take it after you workout is wasting that cap because after you workout your body
is primed to absorb carbs on it's own for recovery. I would dose that 1 cap on the next
meal after your recovery meal and take in about 40 to 60 grams of complex carbs and the rest of the day do very low carbs.

Ok, but then you guys must be disagreeing with the "most carbs of the day in one meal" kind of approach. I mentioned that i diet on 18000 kcal and people remarked that 1800 is way too low. But even at a mere 1800 I get around 225 grams of carbs. With most carbs in one big meal, I will be getting 100- 140 grams of carbs in the big meal.
If you say 40-60 grams of carbs, then you must be recommending 4-5 smaller meals with equal amounts of carbs,no?

Thanks a lot guys

if u consume 25g of carbs. One cap is good enough..i take two if i consume more than 50g

Are you "Zig Zagging" your protein and carbs? I.E. Hi Protein Low Carb for 2 days and Lower Protein/Higher carbs for 2 days, or are you just dropping Carbs? My recomendation is get your complex at breakfast for sure, and or lunch, and after that, keep your intake to simple carbs.

Not really
Protein and fat is pretty much constant every day, but I do a high carb day once every 4-5 days.

by the way, it was said that 1 pill should be enough for 25 grams of carbs but I think 25 grams is nothing; that is like 1 large slice of bread. Do you really need partitioners for just 25 grams of carbs?

Shouldnt it be the other way around with the carbs. I mean you muscles are hungry and cortisol is up in the am so it would make sence to me to have the simple carbs in the am and complex in the afternoon. Unless im not seeing the whole picture.

well the whole thing on taking it with carbs is so it goes to the right place (muscles) instead of using it than whats not used turns into fat...carbs is the #1 energy source...so if ur muscles are fed u use fat instead...also especially when u cutting u need energy and try to min carbs for that dry and cut look..so instead of just taking carbs u use it in the best place :-)
