You won't get much support from Glutamine here at AM, but if you do take it, take as much as you feel you need. If you get results from 6 tbsp/day, go for it. 2-3x a day should be fine, too.
I take no more than about 5-10grams of glutamine aday. I mean I get almost 5 grams a day from my protein source(Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard Cookies n Cream). I really think more than 10 grams is just a waste. You won't really obtain any anabolic effects from Glutamine supplementation. Great for improving immune fuctions, digestion and recovery from micro-tears suffered during weight training.
