Here we have solid complaints from published scientists that show specifically how a jounral was prevailed upon and pressured to one: delay publication of their paper so a 'responding' paper could be published with it; publish the responding paper as a stand alone and not as a response, which it really was, so the normal process of who would have the "final word" was trumped; discussion within the emails showing this that they knew what they were doing was questionable and outside normal practices; citation of the responding paper in another journal before it was even accepted for publication at the original journal; sundry acts of bull**** and nonsense anyone following this gaggle of *******s should be used to at this point.
