GET DIESEL'S Alpha-Omega Protein Company

I'm really starting to like the taste of this (chocolate) more with each serving. It's not sweet and overpowering; just enough to please the palate nicely, as well as providing an impressive nutrient profile.
 
I admit I haven't opened mine yet. I have like 4 other tubs of protein open right now, but I should be getting to it soon. I'm glad to hear it's not too sweet though. It's almost too much for me to drink down something thick or sweet after a hard workout. Especially if I'm a little on the dehydrated side afterwards. And yes the nutrient profile is absolutely solid.

I'm in complete agreement here. This is why i'm really loving the product. :D

hey where do you train, I just worked out at LA fitness in brandon. Gonna be out here until monday.

its a good flavor but with no artificial sweetners so its got a light stevia sweetness. Most protein has as. K, which is like 550x sweeter than sugar and amplifies other artificial sweetners like sucralose.

i mix the Strawberry Banana with 1/2 water 1/2 lactaid milk, taste good. The choc., also taste good to me but I dont like the taste of chocolate anything most of the time because its a "sweet" taste.

I train at 'Lifestyles' on hillsborough ave here in tampa. There is actually an Anytime Fitness that is opening in walking distance from my house next month, so i'll be there probably when it's up and running.

How often are you down here, chuck? We need to hook up at some point and get a training session in while you're here. Hopefully trip will get his azz back down here by me soon as well.

I think you really nailed it here, chuck. The taste is just sweet enough and not overbearing like many products.

every other month since I moved to Chicago. Use to go to Chicago every other month when I lived in Tampa/Orlando.
 
I ordered the Omega isolate in straw/banana and also got the choc and have to admit that this is the best tasting protein I have ever used. I love the nutrient profile and the fact that it contains stevia. It mixes instantly and stays thin to go down smoothe. Anytime I can slam 46 grams of great quality and great tasting protein in under three minutes, it is a winning situation. Been waiting for Chuck to put out a protein for over three years. Well worth the wait.

I remember where you used to post that you used Nectur by Synthrax due to the fruit flavors esp lemonade. Do you still use that from time to time? I find that during the hot summer months that I crave those flavors too as opposed to the more traditional flavors of choc, vanilla, etc.

yeah in the summer i dont want anything "milky." I dont drink it anymore, started making me bloated about 2 years ago when everyone (i think) started using cheaper proteins. Its a good taste tho', their strawberry taste good and "summer time" also. The Alpha-Omega proteins are very thin, so i can/will drink this Strawberry banana in the summer, I just mix it with ice.

i'm going to pick up the straw/banana flavor. I like the fact that it is us sourced. I'll post a review up when I get it.
 
Chuck - I've now been using your Whey Blend (Chocolate) Protein for almost 2 months. I seriously couldn't be happier with this product. Everything from the taste, to the results have been very impressive from my perspective. It also mixes very well with either water or milk. It's seriously my new favorite protein powder, and i'll continue to use it as my primary source. Great job on this man! :food:

hey im glad u like it, as soon as i got it in, DTH went out of stock, so not many people have tried it.
 
i just got my straw/banana blend. The taste is okay,nothing special. Next time around I will stick with chocolate. Mixabilty was good. Consistency is thin which I like because I hate feeling full. I love the fact it is US sourced which was the main reason I got it. I'll post another review after I kill this five pounder.
 
Any other reviews for the straw/banana? Just got done with a few jugs of the chocolate, and it was really good. Lookin to try a new flavor for a bit and am prob gonna try the stra/banana.

i dont like choc. anything but like the taste of the choc as in a good choc taste.....i dont like strawberries but love bananas and like the stra/banana, its my most pop. flavor over the chocolate.
 
Thanks Chuck-I really like the choc flavoryou did-wasn't too sweet and had just enough flavor to it-will def get more in the future. Also agree on the other, not a big fan of either starw or banana, but love the two combined. I'll place an order tomorrow and have a review up soon.

Sure thing-look forward to trying it. How would you say the flavors are in balance? Last one of this flavor I tried was basically strawberry with no banana. If its like 50/50 in flavor, it should be a winner

its like banana with strawberry added. Taste like both. but not like strawberry with banana added.
