Gemma/MPI/WPI Blend Review

I ordered a 34:33:33 blend of gemma protein, milk protein isolate, and (cold-filtered) whey protein isolate with orange/vanilla flavoring.

It came out pretty well. Tastes decent with ice and water. I use a hand-blender, so it mixes fine, but I haven't tried mixing using a shaker cup.

I can't detect anything unusual or unpleasant about the flavor.

I'll probably use it again in future custom blends. Might try a "budget" 50:50 blend of gemma and whey protein concentrate.
 
Thanks for the review Jim, did the mix require any more water than your usual mix without the Gemma would have?

Well, I wasn't precise, but the original amount of water I added (which was sufficient for the equivalent amount of milk or whey protein) wasn't enough and I had to add more. Usually I can "eyeball" the right amount, but notably with the gemma I underestimated.
 
thats happening with everyone it sounds like, as long as it is still mixing smoothly with an additional amount of water should work fine
