GDA Vs Enzymes

In a "healthy" context, in a context of "hyper-caloric diet", over time, with hypertrophic anabolic objectives, what do you think is most important to have available?
GDA, or a complete enzyme profile?

Probiotic/Enzymes would be more beneficial IMO. You want to make sure your gut health is in check to help with digestion, nutrient deliver, etc. A GDA can do those things, but if your gut health is not up to par, the GDA will only help so much.

You are what you absorb. If it is not digested, you aren't absorbing it.

So, do you vote for enzymes?

If your not digesting or absorbing your food and your having problems processing the nutrients you ingest a GDA won’t do anything for you. Can it help transport and process carbs? Sure but that doesn’t help you if you eat foods that bloat you or don’t digest well. Which is a huge problem many trainees have chasing sources deemed “clean” yet they don’t absorb or digest them well.

GDA’s are one of the least important supplements anyone can buy. If you time your diet right working out is the best GDA you have.

Overall health and digestion are far superior over any GDA. Hence why you are getting suggestions for a probiotic over a gda or a good enzyme . This is also why people will tell you to focus on your essentials (Whey, creatine, MULTI, and fishoil). I would always suggest something to aid your health and digestions over a GDA. A GDA is more of a "Want" Then a need. Then again all supplements are wants, they aren't 100% Necessary in the first place as they supplement our diet and training.

Definitely probiotic. I use glycophase almost every day but it's doing nothing for my health, and i don't take it for health reasons. Something like Gut Health would be my choice for actual health benefit.

If choosing between the two Probiotics. I find my body as a whole works better when on them. GDA really don;t help that much as I don;t eat high carb meals that often. I use Invalid Link Removed

I’d have to mimic the other sentiments here, after i started using evomuse gut health consistently several years ago, I’ve pretty much never gotten sick and have had a much flatter stomach and better overall health. Absorption of nutrients is key. Then a GDA will only help amplify the results of your diet and training

Evomuse Gut Health + Vitamin D3 daily....haven't been sick in 2 years. That's saying alot considering I used to get a cold or sinus infection at least twice a year previously.

I do this too. I eat fermented foods like saurkraut or this awesome fermented sriacha i found out Whole Foods on the daily. Also a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar daily.

Nice! I’ve just started adding in fermented kraut and pickles... loving the taste so far and slowly starting to see some positive changes in gut health. My check out ACV soon.

Unless you have issues with digestion, pertaining to a lack of enzymes (far, far less common than people seem to think), then a decent probiotic is probably going to be the best option. After that i'd reach for a GDA over enzymes any day of the week

Only time I’d choose enzymes is if I knowingly found something I couldn’t digest well and couldn’t find a different source (not happend yet) haha

Personally, I think everyone should be using Digestive Enzymes and Probiotics first, before even considering a gda. Considering what we put in our guts between protein powders, our diets, supplements, pills, powders, etc. and all the new research out with how valuable gut protection is, without question, pro, pre biotics, etc. along with digestive enzymes, and supplemental fiber should be a staple.

I use enzyme wth very large meals exceeding 2k calories

Ie: Thai food / all you can eat Ect

I have a diet over 3000 calories ...
some of my meals are beautiful full-bodied ... for 1 month I use Predator (GDA) and I must say that the abdominal swelling is gone. I was without Predator for 5 days, and I had heaviness in my stomach. Yesterday I resumed and I'm already better.
I wondered if enzymes could give a greater hand ... especially in those full-bodied meals, fiber, proteins, carbohydrates, fats.

I will try Cultivate, I can not find better in my part.
SAN is an excellent brand.
