I've never ventured into PHs or AAS, but I know you can get away with more volume and higher training frequency on them before hitting a wall of overtraining.
On Mass-FX, can you benefit from raising the volume and frequency? I've adapted EDT to condense my workouts even further, and basically run a 30 minute circuit between three compound lifts for maximum total reps. For example, one day was C&J/decline bench/front squat, and I wound up netting 10x2 C&J, 10x6 decline bench, 10x3 front squat. 48 hours later, doing a workout of similar volume, and a week later, doing the same workout but with higher volume.
I'm hoping I can make good gains off this kind of volume on Mass-FX, but what do you think?
