This is a new drug developed in Europe and is a new class called SERD's (Selective Estrogen Receptor Downregulator). Has anyone heard anything about this getting approved over here in the states?

It's been availalbe in the U.S. for since mid-2002, trade name Faslodex. Nearly as I can tell, it's an injectable.
 
I wonder why it is not used more often for gyno then if it acts on breast tissue? Is it because it is injectable, expensive or not practical for men?
