Why not just ship it back? If the e-tailer made the mistake they should cover the cost of shipping. At least that way it would save you on shipping and you could get the new version, if whatever etailer you purchased from has it. I am pretty sure most do by now though.

Bc it took two weeks just to get my order they were horrible. I had to ask for shipping n processing emails n constantly check on them
