he pissed off a lot of heavy hitters, take a look at some of the guys in this thread who have some heavy rep points, it doesn't take long

also a couple of others here got negged hard as well, so that's over 3500 negs in this thread alone in 3 days

I actually had a GNC manager accuse me of this a few years ago. I got Muscle Milk - 2 tubs. It doesn't provide the fat loss they say, period. I used the first and most of the 2nd.

I returned the 2nd. Didn't have receipt but still had their price sticker (said GNC on it with the logo).

He accused me of bringing in something else. It was banana something flavor. I made him smell the powder. Then he realized he was retarded.

He ended up giving me an instore credit, but after berating me realized he was an idiot.

I called GNC HQ and reported him. He wasn't the manager last time I went in there.

Muscle milk is some foul sh!t. I never understood the point of dumping all those bad fats in your body in order to burn them. It sounds like a very "bro-esque" type of science. Sorry to hijack, let the negging resume.

Yeah later I came to that conclusion. I only buy MM because I LOVE LOVE LOVE the taste of a few of their powders.

Some of their stuff does taste great. The price is ridiculous though. I haven't drank the stuff ever since I wised up and started buying in bulk.
 
I'm wondering how long they're going to keep this rule in place. They have to be losing a substantial amount of money through this policy. It seems like selling trial packs would be much more economical. I think GNC and Vitamin Shoppe are setting themselves up to be stolen from by having this policy in place. One thing I've learned through my line of work is that if you leave yourself open to theft, someone will steal from you.

Oh....also, all those thieves are azzholes and should be castrated.

I know a lot of people that aren't as up on supplements that buy from GNC/VS BECAUSE of the money back guarantee.

Yeah they'd lose money if it happened a lot - but as often as I've been in a GNC, I've very very rarely seen anyone returning anything.

If a supp doesn't work - people just quit using it, throw it away, and ***** it doesn't work.
They don't go the extra mile to bring it back, it seems.
 
I see what you guys are saying, I am looking at this from a regular supplement user's perspective, not a new user's perspective.

Take back a product if it is an unopened gift or if it gave you a bad reaction. I returned some gifts today to the V-Shoppe. Unopened/unused and I'd never use them.
