Hey guys, I am looking at applying for a job over a new gym in NYC and was wondering if you know where I can get a resume done for free or if there are any really simple programs that can help me do one myself. Actually not having a resume has hurt my job opportunities before and I really want this job so any help is appreciated. Thanks guys!

if you are then i'm sure there is a career center where they help you with this kind of stuff.
 
I can send you a copy of mine and you can modify it as you see fit. It's in Microsoft Word format. I used to write resumes on the side for quite a few with a bit of success just for all the guys who needed help.
 
No I do not go to college anymore but I have plans to go back. Hey, NBE, please feel free to send the resume, I emailed you about it. Is there anything I should know, like do I include hobbies, off the book jobs, how much do I embelish (LIE). I am very passionate about bodybuilding and the fitness lifestyle so a job at a new and franchise gym would be great for me as I am about to start studying for my ACE cert. ANY AND ALL HELP APPRECIATED! This goes out to all the people who have worked in gyms.....they are accepting all positions, so are there any positions I should look out for? Thanks guys!

Ok, got my resume done and had my good West Coast brother Kwyk help me out! Just want to know if anyone with experience would care to look at my RESUME to see if myself or Kwyk left anything out or overlooked something....pretty much an extra pair of eyes! If all goes well I plan to send it to the GYM through email as that is how they are requesting it.....thanks again guys!
