free anti-virus software

Anyone know where I can get it. I don't know if its a virus or what but all of a sudden my pc is running slow as SH*T!!

Any help would be most appreciated.

Try Avast:

avast . com

I second AVG (by GRISOFT). Free virus updates via internet, too.

Go here: free.grisoft.com
Then click "Get AVG Free"

Spyware is the needed software unless you download a lot of music/porn then anti virus is needed.

Spybot
Adaware Personal are the two best imop

I'll second adaware, thats the program I use for spyware. Another good free porgram.
 
Here's what I run to keep my PC trouble free:

AVG Free Anti Virus
Microsoft Defender Anti-Spyware
Spybot Search + Destroy Anti-Spyware
Spyware Blaster

And if all else fails, HijackThis! can usually find and processes or registry entries that shouldnt be on your machine.

LOL why is your GF downloading porn? You may also want to try going to microtrend and just use there online virus scan. Quick and easy.
