Formutech Volatile Log

You have to love a company that doesn't just throw any old supplement on the market. Formutech takes time and won't release anything that doesn't do what it's made to do

That's one of the big reasons I threw my hat in the ring on another message board where your looking for a rep, I know first hand from my years of sales that it's a lot easier to sell/promote a product you believe in rather than one you don't, If you don't believe in a product, than how do you expect potential customers to...

Absoluty. This company puts out solid formulas that work well and do what they say without over the top claims and marketing hype. We could be a bigger player by joining in the hype game like so many others, but integrity is much more a part of the Formutech culture

Giant's tend to fall from time to time when they forgo the best interest of the customer, the people who made them a giant in the first place, there's nothing worse then losing the trust of your customer base, especially if said customer base has been using a companies product for a while, it stings them extra hard if they get "screwed" in essence in this way, rather than trying something new and not just liking it...

Today was leg day.... Unfortunately due to my lower back, It limits my exercises I can do to mostly the machines... (no squats) Leg's have always been one of my strongest muscle groups. On the machines for the most part I can do the entire stack, so today I really concentrated on making sure I used perfect form, I would pause and hold longer on certain exercises, and I went high volume for the most part. I was however able to add 10 lbs to my seated calf raises, and had a really nice calf pump going on. I finished with doing 25 minutes on elyptical (I wanted to do 30, but my gym closes at 4 on Sundays, and I almost missed it, looking at a clock I hadn't added an hour to lol.) Anyways It started to hit me this week, that feeling where you can stand up a straight, and be proud of the direction your going and the progress your making, It's a feeling I haven't had in a very long time, and I am soooooooooo glad it's back :)

That is a very very good feeling to have!

Tonight was back and Bi's. I started off doing bent over rows, then I did lat pull downs, I got a HUGE back pump, in fact I looked in the mirror, and was like o shoot, I am looking pretty big ATM... LOL, anyways I went to do DL's, on my second set (and I am doing them VERY light, in fact the set I was doing is less than I can Shrug, anyways I felt a tweak in the left side of my lower back. I did some BB shrugs, and did 2 set's on the long pull machine (I believe that's what it's called, due to my back, it limits what I can and can't do.) On my second set my back was bothering me a bit so I just decided to forgo Bi's for the night and will do em when I do Shoulders. That aside, I couldn't believe how pumped I was, on Volatile I start to notice a slight pump even before I workout when I do anything that involves some sort of use of my upper body muscles (I got calf pumps the other day tho!), overall It was a decent workout. I was bummed out from work today, and wasn't that motivated when I was getting ready, but 2 scoops of Volatile definitely got me going. I think tomorrow I am going to do just cardio, and will do shoulders on Wednesday most likely...

Careful with that back dude!! Yeah, though, 2 scoops = wicked pumps!

Yea I know :(, that's why I shut it down after I felt it so I wouldn't hurt it, I woke up this morning and and it's only slightly sore, so I'm happy about that, and yes DEFINITE BIG PUMPS at 1 1/2-2 scoops, and no jitters... This is me personally, I don't know how the next man/woman would feel, but I have an uppper-medium stim tolerance.

I was pretty sore today, I just kept it to doing 30 mins of cardio. I forgot to mention last night, I added 10lbs to bent over rows, and 10lbs to lat pull downs. I am currently cutting, and I have maybe had 1 cheat snack, not even a cheat meal in the 3 1/2 months I have been cutting, today I was craving a cheat meal sooo bad, but I held off. Could it possibly be because I have been taking R-ala for the entire time, and for some reason my order is taking a long time to get here, or from some of the stim burner's I am taking, wearing off mid day? I think it is in part due to some stress I had last night/early today (I didn't sleep well at all last night), or the most likely reason is just because it's been so long since I have diverted from my diet, and have been eating basically the same thing every day, I was just curious if you guys feel that any of the other factors could have played a role?

All of those things could be at play but the most likely main culprit is not having a cheat in that long, imo

Truth. The cheat meal keeps you on track so you don't cheat all the time

I had a semi-cheat meal, and ate some additional clean carbs today in addition to what I normally eat (freaking R-ALA didn't come in today, should've came yesterday I hate USPS) anyways tonight I did BI's. I wasn't able to do em when I did back earlier this week. It seemed quite easier doing the same amount of weight as last week, not sure if it's me getting stronger, or if it's because I'm not doing em the sAme day as back, in fact next week I may just dedicate a day to arms, instead of doing em with back and no tri's with chest. I broke my charger to my laptop last night, I ordered a new charger, it should be in some day next week, until then I will have to keep updating from my phone.

Sounds like your doing pretty good

I do a separate arm only day its brutal too lmao. Tomorrow is my arm day actually

When I used to work out pre-injury I did arms only (I was in high school, so I would do it on Fridays, along with 2-3 sets of everything to get a pump for the night lol)

Very true. Cheat meals do two things; keep the mind right and fuel the metabolism. They are a must.

Yea, reflecting on it now, I was very irritable an snapped at little things more so, I ussually don't do that anymore, and I was semi-plateauing on my weight loss, not bad, just seemed to be losing it a bit slower, so I'll have to adjust in the future so I don't even get to that point again

Yeah it can be tricky to balance it all. Just takes more planning I think

So I did Chest and Tri's today. I had a great workout, just felt good through the entire workout. I noticed my last 2 sets of bench seemed a lot Easier than it did last week at the same weight, I added 5lbs to incline db flys. BTW is it odd to have a stronger incline bench than flat? I also do 1 set on the pec deck machine and added 10lbs and probAbly could've 10 maybe 20lbs more. I have good and bad news to report from doing Tri's. The good news is on the Tri push downs using the flat bar I was able to do 140 (probably could've done 150, and when I say that I mean no less than 6x). On the triangle shaped handle/bar I was able to do the whole stack 150 7x. Here is the bad news, while working my tri's (It may have started when I was doing chest) but I felt tenderness/sore in my left elbow and the surrounding area. I did 20 mins of cardio on the elyptical and my elbow area was hurting doing that, and even driving home. I took an hour nap, ironically I was watching Unbreakable at the time, and I feel like I should be called Mr. Glass lol (If you've seen the movie you'd understand) anyways when I woke up my elbow was very stiff. On a brighter note I noticed today I was really slimming down in this old shirt I was wearing that looked really big on me. At the same time I am noticing my shoulders, we'll really my untire upper body is definitely getting bigger, which is quite pleasant and surprising since I'm cutting and not on a minimum of 5-600mg and d-Bol. It really makes me wonder how much more I could've gained on my cycles with products like this making every workout better, ( also having my nutrition more on point, and not using drugs could've also helped lol ) O I forgot to write this at the beginning I took 2 scoops 35-40 mins pre-workout (was watching the end of the Duke game and left about 15 mins later than I expected ) still got great pumps, intact they were even a bit better than normal ( I assume that carbup I did certainly helped ) I am doing legs tomorrow, then probably rest or just cardio monday so I have 2 full days to rest my elbow, I will gauge the soreness by then and see how it feels.

I think my incline is stronger than my flat press now. Just hit 245x10-9-9-8 today on incline, I don't remember ever hitting better than 8 at that weight on flat. Incline press is better for esthetic chest development so I've been concentrating my effort there

This may not be the case so if I'm wrong someone please correct me, but I think when you do incline you use more of shoulders/upper body strength than you do on flat bench? I know my shoulders/back basically everything above my chest is my strong point, that and legs, chest and for some reason Bi's are my weakest, my Tri's strength has gone through the roof for some reason...

Idk, I feel it in my pecs a lot better with incline vs flat I feel it in anterior delts and tris more

Lol. My incline is about 20lbs stronger. People think I am crazy when we bench incline. But really incline uses front delt a little more so its not bad to be stronger.

Ok good so I'm not the only one lol, also I don't do decline BP, I just never liked doing it, felt If I had to work on the "lower part" of my chest I just do cable crossovers with the cables as low low as possible...Again keep in mind my chest is by far my worst area...

Decline bench is a waste of time imo

Good, I don't do it, and I remember seeing anyone else doing em at my gym come to think of it..,

Some people like them because you can usually push more weight. Same reason a lot of people avoid incline press

I guess it really for me boils down to comfort, I did it before I hurt my back years ago, but haven't done it since... I also don't really have any1 I workout with these days at my gym, I used to have a group of 5 people that I could trust to spot me, now I am scared with the way people in my gym workout. (Form wise), and just skip it and do more incline/flat and throw in the cable crossovers in the way I imagine would hit the area decline bench would hit as best as possible...

I don't avoid decline bench but I don't do it regularly. I'd rather do dips and hammer strength decline press.

I do tons of dips. Love em, seems to shape my lower chest very well.

I got my laptop charger in the mail today, so Im happy I don't have to post updates from my phone anymore. I took a nap at like 6 today, woke up at 8 (my gym closes at 9:30) so I quickly got up and took 2 scoops, and went to the gym. I did legs tonight, I was just able to squeeze everything in. I was able to add 5 more lbs to calf raises, other than that I at least stayed the same as last week, my legs are pretty sore rite now. Tomorrow will be the first true of that tenderness I was feeling around my elbow, when I do shoulders. It's feeling better, only a tiny bit sore, so we'll see how it goes.

I am going to add in dips this week, we'll the assisted dip machine, still a bit to fat to do BW dips lol :)

My legs are killing me too to the point I want a handicap sign for my car lol I learned deep stretches and pushing through the soreness actually helps you recover better

Yeahhhh I never stretch. I should fix that.

They have me do some leg stretches in PT when I go 2x a week, I dunno how it helps my back, if anything it may even slightly aggravate it for a bit...

Don't be scared of a lil pain.... No pain no gain right? Lol

lol yeah yeah I know. Any time I stretch I always think of what else i could be doing instead (i.e. more sets!) lol

I did shoulders tonight. My elbow started bothering me towards the end so I cut 2 sets out of my workout, nothing major. I hope this elbow nonsense subsides soon, as I plan on doing a re-comp/eat maintenance on a 3 month cycle starting in a week, so hopefully this ends soon. I am going to gauge it tomorrow, I may lay off lifting for the rest of the week, and just do cardio. On that note, on my recomp, I am going to eat as clean as possible, but just coming off a caloric deficit for 4 months, and low carb I am going to try and supplement with as many "clean bulking supps" as possible. I will have na-r-ala, sesamin, green tea, alcar, a GDA, reduce xt and lean xtreme, if anyone can think of anything that helps keep you as clean as possible, that I haven't listed, please let me know...

Also check out our Natural EFX I think it would fit well in that stack

This is gonna sound like an awfully stupid probably, but I don't know anything about PH's, I always just did the real deal, and plan running 500mg test-e/wk, with this I was thinking about running epi 2a3a, it seems solid, and seems likes something I can take in addition, I could be wrong, does anyone have any experience with running a "fat loss ph" or hard gainer I guess it's called... I would get more of the real stuff to stack it with, except I have one person I know, I put in an order in ahead of time, than drive 3 1/2 up to 4+ hours round trip to pick it up... So what do u guys think?

It looks like it has a good profile, I could be wrong, but doesn't it seem a bit under dosed on certain things..?

The synergy of the ingredients works very well. When you put products that amplify each other together you need less of each

I was referring to just the 7-Keto DHEA, and 5-htp all others seem on point... Like I said earlier, I could be wrong... I'll definitely consider it, although I will be taking alcar, chromium and alcar on it's own, you don't think it would be overkill?
