Don't stir, use a glass that has a compatible lid and shake the sh!t out of it for about 10-15 secs between powder additions. Stick with about 5gr per penatrate to avoid oversaturation.
 
This is a really helpful thread. Thanks to everyone involved with their experience and expertise. I have often wondered about my trans 6-oxo being slightly gritty. I wondered if it was still good. I used it anyway, of course, and it gave great results. For the most part it is dissolved, but there is still only a slight grittiness to it. Glad to hear that's normal!!!
