For all of those who think real men don't use machines

I was always 100% free weights. But I recently bought a machine and I like it a lot, i start off with my free weights and then when fatigue sets in i hit the machine for several more sets than I would have normally been able to do. So I think a machine can be a valuable addition to your workout. As an added benefit, since I workout alone most of the time it allows me to push the envelope with my benchpress and go heavier than I normally would.
 
I could see something like a lat pull down machine being useful for a beginner who doesn't have the strength to do pull-ups yet but when it comes down to it, free weights are king.
