First PH Cycle - H-Drol

Been lifting for about four years now and have been doing my research and learning over the years and at point I'm going to give h-drol a go. My question is, will a 50/50/50/50 cycle produce results. I see alot of people go up to 75, but is it really necessary? My view is always less is better when possible. I'm currently 6' and hovering around 200 lbs. I would like to lean up slightly, and add about 6lbs of muscle. I only have about 4-5lbs to lose so its not a whole lot and if I can add about the same in muscle I would be happy. Just would like to hear a reps opinion.

You can gain LBM and loose BF using PH/DS (really AAS), but calipers are necessary. With Hdrol, it would be easy to stay at the same weight and recompose (lost fat and gain muscle). Again, caliper measurements ever two weeks would ideal if shifting your body composition is a priority.

Use 50mg per day is a great place to start. The only reason to bump it is if you are not responding. With that said, Hdrol is a compound that slowly builds. Anecdotal results indicate that 2-3 weeks is the earliest that you will notice results. Therefore a longer than typical cycles are recommended (5-6 weeks).

In summary, consider a longer cycle. 6 weeks is optimal. Lastly, if you have not used PH/DS, start at 50mg and adjust accordingly. Bumping to 75mg might (emphasize might) be necessary if you stagnate. Again, this is assuming that training, nutrition and rest are all dialed in.

Hope this helps...

It's hard not to lose bodyweight on H-Drol honestly. I usually dont even monitor my diet or tailor my diet to cutting and still manage to shed 1-2%.

My advice is to play it by ear with the dosage. I always run H-Drol at 50 mgs and always have great gains. You really may only need to bump it if you plan to run it for longer than 4weeks as the gains tend to stop a couple days after week 4.

Dosing varies by the person and many people are very impatient lol. I think you can get your desired gains at 50 mg per day for 4 weeks.
