First Osta cycle

I also ran Clomid for 5 days, and Nolva for 7 or so after my Osta cycle (that's all I had left and I wasn't going to order more as I probably didn't need it), been taking APEX MALE as well which is a test booster and while I have not gotten any bloodwork, I am continuing to make gains even aftet the osta was stopped so I'd imagine it worked well
 
Just in case anyone is waiting on the final, post cycle bloods, I will get it done in the next day or two. I need to be able to drop the blood kit in the mail the day I draw, but have been a little busy and the weekend doesn't as it just sits around somewhere in the post office. So just a few more days of patience.

How long are you running it and at what dose?

I ran 25mg because that is what the Osta Elite is dosed at, but I'm thinking the next cycle will be 8 weeks at 15mg or *maybe* 20mg.
 
Still no results from the lab. For the past two bloods it has been a question of 1-2 days to get the results. So, I reached out to them today inquiring as to the lead time. I hope they didn't lose them or switch them with a chimp's blood work:

"Hello Uncle Sarm,

We would like to notify you of abnormalities in your blood results. Your potassium levels are extremely high so we recommend reducing your banana intake. We also suggest cutting back on your pull-ups because it appears that your arm length is above the high value for a human (your age and any other age). Please consult your doctor with regards to your abnormally hairy feet. May we recommend an excellent hair removal cream for the rest of your body?
Thank you for choosing us for your blood lab needs.

Amazing what they can tell from a blood sample these days!

Anyway, I wanted to post an update to let anyone interested know that I haven't abandoned this thread and that post-PCT bloods will be posted as promised, just as soon as I get them.
 
So we are now over the one week mark since I took bloods. No communication from the lab and no reply to my email asking for details. Looks like Monday I will have to call them. Sorry for the wait guys.

On line private lab. This was not a conversation I was ready to have with my doctor. It's really odd though because up until now they have been quite quick with purchases and test results.

Hopefully they didn't go out of business or something ... like they got taken over by aliens that are now forcing the lab technicians to create mind altering substances to enslave the Earth. This is not good. I may have to reveal my secret identity to the world.
 
Two weeks and still waiting. Called them and complained that about the lack of results posted. They were very nice and said they would get them up in a day or two. And still nothing. Now I need to call them back and be as unpleasant as I can be (and I can be quite unpleasant when I want to)..
Sorry to all who are waiting to see the final blood values.

I don't want you guys to think that this thread will remain unfinished.

All in all, I am glad that the current trouble is with the post-cycle bloods and that it didn't happen when I got pre-PCT bloods done. That said, I obviously want to know my levels, so I am not going to let this go, plus I paid good money to get these done.
As I promised I would follow through, I will post the values as soon as I can get the f***ing lab to post them. Just have a little bit of patience and I'll deliver.
 
Finally!! And it only took an email, three phone calls, and 2.5 weeks to get the results. And who says they don't believe in Easter miracles??
They told me that they needed more blood (I guess the vampire coven got bigger) because they didn't have enough to test the SHBG. I told them to post my current values and I'll worry about the extra blood later. I was concerned that maybe they had messed my blood sample and so they were making an excuse for wanting another one. Anyway ... posting the values in the next few minutes.

So you are around 100 points lower than pre cycle. I wonder why your E is lower now too? Did you use any AI in pct?

Yes, on the ng/dl scale my test levels were 100 points lower as of March 11. I did not take any AI, just Rebirth, bulbine, and DAA for 4 weeks.
On the plus side, both my triglicerides and cholesterol are lower. And while my HDL dropped, it is still above the range.

*Edit: is lower estradiol good or bad?

Per the lab, they ran out of blood before they could test my SHBG, which is why it is not showing above. However they will be doing another test for the SHBG. Seeing they dragged it out, I have half a mind to ask them to take another test measurement for free. It may not make a difference over 2.5 weeks, but if I can get it for free I wouldn't mind at all.
My triglicerides are lower and so is my cholesterol, which means that Osta does impact your lipids, although not drastically.

I will post my SHBG values when I get them.

sanmarino you did an awesome analysis of my pre-PCT bloods and wondering if you had any comments on these values. Would it have helped to stretch the OTC PCT to two months?
Certainly, in one month my test almost quadrupled, so wondering if it would have changed in the last 2.5 weeks. The reason I ask is that the lab jerked me around for 2.5 weeks and just asked for more blood to get me my SHBG values, so maybe I can squeeze them a little to get a free additional test measurement out of them.

Thanks! I was just posting in the Rebirth review thread. I saw that your results 2 months after PCT were higher than pre-cycle, but you also ran Rebirth for 8 weeks. Do you feel it would have been better to run it for 8 weeks for me also?

Have you tried cutting out wheat? Gluten free diet.
I had a similar problem, I could feel and even taste/smell something from my stomach or throat always. I felt self conscious about my breath daily no matter what food, brush, flossing, mints I deployed. I cut out wheat (cooked most of my food, every packaged food has wheat) and bam, days later problem solved!

No dentist, doctor, food, supplement worked for me. Cut out wheat and life is better. It's work to maintain my diet but so worth it.

Your experience may be different but try it for a week, take a chance - sh't your pants.

Ah, awesome on the clarification, now it makes sense. Thanks for sharing, I know it's one of those things that don't get much attention, but if you suffer from it can have quite a negative impact.

Very nice bloodpanel. Not much to say here, everything within the range with good values.
The testosterone recovers fast, much more important would be to know, how the LH and FSH changed. The imporoved for sure, because the testosterone increased as well.
 
Thanks for the Bloodwork. Is there any question about the suppressiveness of 2866 anymore? :D Remember those companies that put it in "PCT" products? Red Flag, IMO. Uncle, are you planning on future cycles? If so, I'd love to see you try Clomid, to compare.

Thanks for weighing in! Unfortunately, the blood tests are either T, SHBG, and lipids, or T, SHBG, and other hormones. I took the one with lipids for before and after cycles, and the hormonal one before starting PCT.
I am hoping that my T levels are still rising post PCT.

I don't think Osta's suppressiveness was ever in doubt, at least for me. If anyone thought Osta was not, then they didn't do their research properly. However, being suppressed from Osta is still a far cry from than being completely shut down from AAS.

I would like to do another cycle, but it will either be 6 weeks of LGD or 8 weeks of Osta at a lower dose than the 25mg of this cycle. If I go with Osta, I will most likely do an OTC PCT again, but this time I'll run it for 8 weeks. I don't see the need for me to take Nolva or Clomid after an Osta cycle.
 
Quick update: I should be getting bloods again on Friday or Monday. I will post them here as I have done before.

I'm still on the fence between an LGD cycle and an 8-week Osta cycle at 15mg. Osta I already know will go well and I want to see what happens with a longer cycle. LGD I am Jonesing to do ... you know, the new shiny toy syndrome!

Lgd > osta by a long margin IME. Recovery was easy af as well.

Thanks for you suggestion! My dilemma is that on one side I haven't tried LGD, so feeling all Smigol-like: "my precious!" On the other side I really liked Osta. I felt good and had strength increases in the third week, which felt really nice, and the PCT was easy as a Sunday morning. So I would love to run a longer cycle at a lower dose and see what comes out of it. Both I have on hand too. It's a good dilemma to have!

I remember my first time i researched Osta, 12.5mg right way through. Felt great on the whole time with great gains. Next time round 20mg, no where near as much progression or on type feeling. I think going from 25mg to 20mg you are going to very underwhelmed.
