First epi cycle questions

Hi,

I've done a ton of reading and decided I am going to try Epi out. I have a bottle on the way.

I'm currently 6'1 180, 22 yo, and ~8% (real 8% not internet 8%) bodyfat...I was about 205 and dieted down recently.

Here is my "protocol" I've worked out to see the effects on my body, and the cool part is it will only use 1/2 the bottle.

Pulse cycle
Week 1 10/20/30 + 100mg DHEA daily
Week 2 30/40/30 + 150mg DHEA daily
Week 3 30/40/50 + 200mg DHEA daily
Week 4 50/50/50 + 100-150mg DHEA daily
Week 5 start taking Hawthorn berry, Fenugreek, Saw Palmetto, Potassium, vit. E, Milk Thistle and use until the bottles run out (25-30 days of it)
Week 9 see if I want to go back on and use the other 47 pills and some DHEA, or if I want to stay off longer.


Fish oil @ high doses and tons of supplemental protein throughout.

I am going to train HARD and heavy with some extra stuff for higher volume, plus weighted "doggcrap" style stretching, 3x/week, the split will be Back/lateral delts/hams, Chest/triceps/biceps, and quads/calves.

Thinking of having 3000 cal per day every day, which would be 500 over maintenance. I do want to gain some considerable mass though, so input on tweaking the # of calories is appreciated. All calories will be 100% clean. I am definitely considering going higher with the calories though, because fat gain doesn't seem to be much of an issue on Epi.

Also, would it be a good idea to do 4wks on/4 off/4 on/4 off with this protocol, or should I take more time off between? I am set on pulse cycling, and I am happy with my choice for supplements in the off-weeks.

Finally, if this stuff works as it has for others, I plan on buying a couple of bottles to throw in the freezer. But I have read that after using a bottle or so it is best to switch to another designer in order to prevent acclimation. What would a good choice be, legal and not too expensive with similarly few sides? I am a bit of a hoarder, so I would like to get info about what to get along with 2 more bottles of Epi for the long term. Don't plan on running cycles very often, maybe 1-2x per year.

Oh yeah, one more thing.

I am taking the DHEA morning and night and the Epi around the workout. 10 before workout, or 10 before/10 after, 20/10, or 20/20, or 30/20.

Sample workout nutrition
30 min before workout, 20mg epi
15 min before workout, 120 cal of 75% Waxy Maize+15% Hydrolyzed Casein+10% BCAAs
Train
Toward end of workout, 120cal of WMS+HC+BCAAs
10-20 min later, pop 10mg epi
20 min later, 1 scoop Whey Isolate Ion-exchange
30 min later, huge meal of carbs and protein with no fat

Also, I was thinking of "stocking up" on 1 bottle of hyperdrol, 1 bottle of anabolic innovations PCS, and 1 more bottle of epi for later. Either that or 1btl epi + 1btl furazadrol. But that isn't too important, I'm more interested in input about my current planned cycle.

everything looks very well thought out. i personally will never pulse, but ur set-up looks good

are u pulsing 4 or 6 weeks?

the upside to pulsing is theres no need for PCT. but i would give my body a good 4 weeks after the pulse to start up again

Probably just four weeks. That way, I can get two cycles out of one bottle. That's dang cheap, as we say around these parts. If the stuff arrives on Friday like it sez, I will start Monday and dose M/W/F for four weeks. Then onto my herbal pseudo PCT and then, if everything seems ok, maybe another pulse for 4 weeks after that.

The training and diet are going to be intense. I've looked at a good number of epi logs, pulse and otherwise, and it seems like you get out what you put in in terms of nutrition and gym efforts. I don't expect it to be a magic pill...

u will probably have better gains from 6 weeks than 4, but enjoy

So you still think I wouldn't need SERM/AIs after 6 weeks? Most of what I read showed people who thought 4 was fine with no real PCT, but 6-8 required PCT.

Im just goin to say, you mite want to look at a couple of pct threads that have been posted by people who ran pulse cycles. Particularly with epi. There are many cases with gyno a month after. Just be careful

Personally I would run 6 weeks....and I always run some sort of PCT.
I ran a 6 week Havoc pulse with 4 weeks PCT...I went as high as 60mgs. though

My thought on PCT is better safe than sorry. You don't necessarily have to run a PCT(specially for a 4 week pulse), but it certainly can't hurt. Better to slightly overdue it than underdo it.

I've heard a lot of people say to keep a SERM on hand "just in case" so I am going to order tamoxifen citrate and keep it in the fridge.

My thinking is that with a 4 week pulse, I probably won't need a SERM. But I want to know what indications would show that I would need it, and if I do need it I will run it at 40/40/20/20. But how do I know if I need it?

So, "just in case" people...fill me in :) Thanks

40 would be way to high for a 4 week pulse.

20/20/20/20 would be fine
 
Okay, great, thanks.

So, if I am experiencing excessive testicular atrophy, excessive puffiness of my nipples, loss of energy/depression, etc toward the end of the cycle I should go ahead and start the 20/20/20/20 when I end the epi? I am pretty sure that's what you're sayin'.

These forums are GREAT. Right now I'm Learnin' but maybe I can help Teach when I get a log or at least some before/after pics up.

Oh, and I would still love to have my other question answered:

I'm gonna grab 1-2 more bottles of epi and another bottle of another PS/PH for long term storage after this cycle. What should I look at for the other option? Currently considering H-drol or Furazadrol. Think I'll just go with furazadrol...

Also, does everyone think 4 pulse/4 off/4 pulse/4 off sounds like a reasonably good idea?

Furazadrol it is. I will figure out whether to do a second pulse on week 9 based on my results and feelings at the time.

Reg Park style means first two sets are fairly light warmup, last three sets are each heavier than the previous.

That just leaves the question of calories per day. I'd really like some suggestions there, from someone with experience.

i just ran epi m,w,f for 4 weeks i didnt go any higher than 20mg. i gained about 6lbs. started milk thistle 2 weeks before and ran the whole cycle. im on the TNT stack..this is my 4th week and i have had nothing but good things during my pct.. i havent noticed any sides

what did you take on your off days? i may consider an epi pulse...:think:
 
im 29yrs old 5,9- about 170-175 bf 7% i try to get around 2500-3000 cals a day.

Based on that I'm thinking 2800-3300 since I weigh 180 right now. I am as lean as I've been for a pretty good while, and I'd love to gain weight and get leaner. Also, I know that I can keep cals clean in that range, as opposed to going up to 4.5-5k (I've done it before, and I just don't have the time or cash for that much clean food). I think hard training + clean cals + epi will get me some good results. Maybe I will change this to a log if I can edit the title.

thats the hard part $$$$ to eat clean for me.
