First Cycle, going to be using Epistane

I'm watching.

cant disappoint you guys! i have numerical goals on paper. BUT in the spirit and for the honor and glory of the AM crew my goal this next leg day is to fill up a trash can with vomit. even if that means extra xtend and situps and squats!@#$*(&

edited (spelled xtend wrong!!@#&*(!@#@#*($) thanks g

lol... you mean xtend. Don't add the S lest someone think you are talking about extendz.

You've got 315 in ya bro. Just belt up and pick that f*cker up. I think the bodybug thing at 24hour is pretty rediculous. If you need to be that close to your calories in/out... you have more homework to do.

Counting calories is for Jenny Craig. Get your good macros in, and grow... Just don't eat trash, and your body will tell you when to stop.

Yep, and I'm still defining what the definition of trash is. Ie: is it completely impossible to eat outside of anything home cooked that lists the macros? Or if I'm at a friend's house that has made us something, how do I know where my macros sit without sitting them in a dark room with a spot lamp and interrogate them? How do I, out of fear, make sure I don't turn into grimace from mcdonalds from over eating. This is a big empty area in my brain that needs to be filled in yet. This meaning looking at food and sizing it up.

Put it this way. Eat the majority of your meals at home. I don't think anyone with a social life can stay away from the occasional splurge. And by occasional I mean about once a week. If I am not on a cut, then I go get myself some In N Out on a sunday afternoon, and it helps me keep my sanity. Am I gonna turn into a lard ass because I ate a double double with cheese? No. Would I if I ate it day in and day out? Yes.

If you are on a cut then be more strict about it, but you have to let yourself enjoy eating as well. I suggest buying a few health food cookbooks and trying some stuff out. The more variety you can cook, the less bored your palate will be and the less likely you will cheat. TL is a pretty good cook... he might toss some recipe's your way.

i think the hardest thing is that my gf and i pretty much ate out everywhere all the time and now she's getting used to me staying at home to eat more.

what's going good for me is that she does a lot of accounting and bookwork for people, and she knows the economy is complete **** in the area we live (driven mostly by real estate sales and rentals for vacation) so it's like im being smarter.

we did a run through the grocery store last night and made a pretty badass salad with apples and walnuts bleu cheese and baby greens. and as long as she's full i can eat my brown rice and chicken later (she hates chickens!) i had a lot of help from texaslifter last summer so im on a pretty good path, just need to keep getting the experience behind me.

Yeah man the economy in some locations suck. I am not familiar with ABI's cookbook, gonna have to look it up. Man bro, you have any of that salad left over? lol.

and as i hit submit on that last post, the fedex man hath delivered the glorious bottle number 2 of epi. thanks nutraplanet :)

hehe that was a joke about the abi cookbook, but i dont see why it's not a reality. every beginner in the world needs guidance from somewhere, why not from tl/gmg/tg/et al.

we killed that salad man, but there's enough left where i'm gonna make some for lunch and throw a picture up here for ya. i made sure the dressing had the least amount of sugar compared to the others. it's always nice pointing out how the fat free stuff has like 38g in there. why not just pour mountain dew on some lettuce? or grape soda, the absolute best most awesome soda on the face of the planet haha

lol. :food:

very reluctant to leave the gym today. which actually makes me wonder.

i know epistane can sit on a shelf for awhile, but i wonder if it matters if it is not sealed. im a full 40mg in to the new bottle and im wondering if it made a difference. i mean, i feel ****ing awesome. i really didnt want to leave tonight. i added about a zillion sets of different ab routines tonight too.

strength is up on leg curls, leg extensions, leg press, reps and weight, i feel like a whole new person.

at the same time, it's also the 2nd night i started writing in my journal between sets. call me crazy, but i was writing war and hate letters to the equipment at the gym.

"good round mate. you're getting better, but in the end the victory is mine. stop pretending, stop wasting your time. stop wasting my time. get out of my was 120kg"

at which point i went for a 5th set of squats at 120kg x 4 (still getting used to the mechanics of this machine). it felt very good, definitely will bump it up next week.

ive got my belt and straps in the bag for friday, that 315 sdl is mine. 135x4 warm up, 225x4 warm up, then going straight for a 315x? where ? is at least one if not 10 !@#%^$^&!

i had been measuring out EVOO tbsp using a doubleshot glass a friend of mine had gotten me from disney world. the stuff always rises to the top of the shake and tastes pretty .. well, strong. decided to remeasure 1tbsp in the glass to see how off it has been, and i think ive been sticking about 3 tbsp in there, ick. got that all straightened out *whew*

ABI's cookbook hasn't been published yet... and probably won't ever have any bigtime distribution.

SDL huh? I really prefer RDL, and you can lift a lot more weight with RDL.

good evening ladies!!!!!!!!!! and gentlemen :D

of all the body parts violently thrashed about for the past few weeks, i can say without hesitation that ive had the greatest success in recruiting and growing more muscle in the chest. based on inline press for warm up, flyes for preexhaust and incline press for 1~3 reps, here is a brief history of the numbers. both rep counts are to failure:

flyes, press (numbers in kg, sorry gmg lol) oh edit: remember these are on machines so dont get too excited about the numbers! lol
66kg x13, 88kg x2
77kg x13, 88kg x4
88kg x15, 99kg x6
99kg x7, 110kg x1
99kg x11, 110kg x3

keep in mind that some of these are likely gains due to better eating/recovery, and partial n00bie gains. like they say kids, stay away from ds/ph until you stop growing naturally (woops).

i chose to hilight this one because it's always the first set i do on chest/back/bi day.

315 sdl still evades me, but im getting closer. 225 is done without thinking twice now. my lower back still remains my weakpoint to over come, but that is almost out of the way.

another great advancement for me is pec deck has gone from 55x10,77x10,66x5,44x5 to 55x10,77x10,99x5,77x5,44x10.

looking forward to hitting up legs tomorrow, im going to keep the same weight on my leg extension and up the weight on the leg press and see what we get.

also, ive been drinking xtend during workout. do you think id be better off just doing wms + whey? scivation has bcaa in it already, and im thinking i would benefit better from switching up. any thoughts?

thanks for reading guys, and good night!

B

had a run in with the lg science store today, going to add t911 to pct and test out some of that AS everyone's going on and on about. i believe i have an absolute overkill setup for pct, but that's how i like to plan, and am absolutely excited as **** about it!

Its good to have some fun goodies during PCT, one to keep the gains, but two (and just as important) to keep you interested. You're gonna like these products bro!

hey guys, funny thing happened this week at work- i actually got to work so havent been here as much. it's been a brutally fast week though, even killed a lot of extra hours on the clock and i didnt mind.

i did a few change ups on leg day, i skipped the leg extension for pre exhaust because that part of my leg always failed on the following leg press and this week, i wanted to see how much weight i could handle. unfortunately at 360 i had some sharp pain in my right knee so i backed it down to 325x6. everything else felt good though.

a couple days ago i picked up arnie's new encyclopedia of modern bodybuilding and it almost feels like it should be required reading before being allowed in to any gym ever. unless of course you have an older brother or dad that taught you this stuff, that'd be the only caveat.

spent a lot of time working on the high pulley crunches this week since we dont have a weighted crunch machine, i really miss those.

squats are absolutely the most intense exercise on the entire planet. i know dead lifts are supposed to be up there and they get me going, but squats annihilate me. here's what i ran this week:
169x15
218x10
242x8
291x6

it was more of a cardio thing for me than muscle failure. i think i need to spend more time on a bike/treadmill but didnt want to do too much of that while bulking w/ epi.

note on the calf raises, ive been using my new balance shoes and the pain in my arch is basically gone. i think the stretching is helping too. the calf is starting to show the separation in the back, and the legs are starting to show muscle separation as well. i think im going to have some pretty decent changes in leg measurements at the end.

tonight is shoulder tri day, and normally i do shoulders first but today im going to kill the tris first. lots of dips and pulldowns, skullcrushers, you name it.

im sure im gaining some undesirable weight, for some reason im weighing in around 177 now. once i started eating more my weight shot up pretty fast over a few weeks.

in terms of recovery, im going to need some input from you guys. on wednesday i worked the hell out of my legs. thursday was a normal day, and today- i can feel a little bit of soreness. is my body slow to recover, or is this something fairly normal? is the feeling i am getting today related to being recovered, and actually growing?

oh and lol thanks lg sciences for the shirt, i cant wait to grow into it :)

thank you tg for getting my beta alanine intake up, that nasty burn on leg day is a thing of the past! :head:

I feel the soreness two days later too. I feel it the day after, but if I really get it, it's the worst on day 2.

You know what buddy? You squatted more than I did yesterday. I stopped at 275. You're getting strong homie.

thanks bro! as long as the numbers keep getting higher, that's all that counts. keep in mind our squat rack is off getting repainted, so these are done on a machine. i'll post up those numbers as soon as it returns!

not sure how bright it was, but you guys keep talking good things about AS so i took a scoop of that pre wo. did it an hour out just in case, and it's like someone ground up flowers or something. but i did just have the best workout of my entire life and had an immensely badass pump.

prioritized triceps today. also added in some shrugs, and pushing shoulders to the back had me doing lower numbers but im not mad. managed to muscle up 25 lbs on db front raise, poor form imo but no swinging and junk, but the arm wasnt completely straight out it was bent at the elbow a bit.

massive pump. i almost feel like i belong in the gym. so so so very very close. call me weird, but im anxious to start pct this upcoming wednesday.

not sure if i'll run any more ds/ph cycles this year until my girl and my job situation stabilizes. i think by summer things will be fine, but i have to be smart. also if i keep this roll going with eating and gaining and lifting progressively heavier weights during pct, i dont mind holding off. and this whole psarm thing sounds pretty badass!

this is really going to hurt come sunday, i cant wait :D

Aww, cmon, you know you want to run M1T stacked with Superdrol*.... :food:

*Disclaimer: REALLY BAD IDEA KIDS...

Squats are certainly the most torturous exercise - especially when you start getting those widowmakers in at the end...

any opinions for or against starting t911 tomorrow? my last epi dose just went down and im a few minutes away from chest/back/bi day. i was thinking about waiting to start it like week 3, but you know how antsy we can get!

I would use it immediately, but that is just me.

Money is on point. You want to introduce natural test back into the equation as soon as possible to maintain gains. I even start a couple days before the end of the cycle.

also, ive been drinking xtend during workout. do you think id be better off just doing wms + whey? scivation has bcaa in it already, and im thinking i would benefit better from switching up. any thoughts?

B

Sorry, just catching up.

No, you do not want to switch. You don't necessarily need to take Scivation - but BCAA's in their pure form are an awesome supplement to take.

BCAAs are in just about every whey I can think of, problem is - they are still bound to whole proteins - so it takes your body several hours to make those bio available, whereas BCAA's are utilized on the spot.

Taking whey intra-workout poses a few problems... one you'll be diverting blood from your muscles you're training to your gut for digestion... Whey should get slammed about 20 minutes post workout. Some say right after the workout - some say wait 30 minutes... either way - definitely not during your workout unless you did an hour of lifting then want to do cardio, then its ok to drink half your protein before hitting the treadmill I would say.

I'm not a fan of WMS. I'm going to try it again with P-Slin to see how it fares, but I just felt like I bloated a lot while using.

normally i hit the squats at the end of the workout. you know, give it that all out, reps to failure death and damnation .. and craziness inducing dance. i think tonight im gonna kill them first, and see what it does to my other leg numbers. plus i dont like the squat giving me this stupid feeling of it being better than me. the squat needs to understand that it is my bitch, and im the one doing the squat not the other way around!!!!

I always squat first... after stretching of course.

I worked out with a really tough dude last night. Right after squats we did closed stance leg press - all the way up to 540 for 10 reps apiece. My legs are on fire.

i guess squats are something that take awhile to get conditioned for. and xtend does not get along with my tummy when i'm working that hard.

i didnt have my knee pain in the leg press until rep 5 of 360lb which is an improvement by 2 reps. judging by how i do things from day to day, im pretty sure it's just from lack of flexibility which i'm still working on. getting MUCH better though.

notepad is in the car, i'll have to get some numbers up here when i get to work. nite guys!

ps. Timber, your ab workout hurts so good. I had to "X" a lot of it out for a later date :sad6:

 glad you gave it a shot... takes some getting used to for sure.

You know... maybe once a month, XTend will bum out my stomach. Just reduce your dose by a half a scoop to a scoop and see what happens.

The taste is pretty intense at first. I am used to it now. Definately something I chug, and don't savor... but the effects are second to none as far as PWO drinks go.

went in earlier than normal yesterday to sign a friend up, lots of new years folks in there. i dont like a lot of people in the gym when i'm there, especially if they're not into training to failure and just looking cool. dont fail to go to failure (come on, 10 times fast..)

the xtend bcaa really drove me nauseous, and i might not have waited long enough after taking the AS. i think i might have to gear more towards water on leg day. i'll start keeping better track of how i feel so i can get the most out of each day. speaking of grape xtend :alcoholic:

Grape nauseates me anyway... too sweet.

I love lemonade... watermelon is OK.

I have no idea how people do leg extensions with 300+ pounds...

do you think i need to lower the weight some and add more reps? the way the guy runs the place, i wouldnt be surprised if the weight labels are incorrect lol

I dunno man... maybe I'm just a pansy.

nah no way, im sure im doing something wrong. it will iron itself out in a few pages :) the important thing is that whatever numbers i do end up with, that they go up. i'll try to get some pics of this stuff up so you can see what im workin with.

Cool. I remember seeing Money's numbers on cable flies that made me look like a bumbling tard... then we worked out together and our local gym machines were just weighted differently.

lol thanks bro!!

trying to get the gf to make some dinner and play nice at the gym for awhile.

Yea machines arn't really ever the weight they say they are... since most use pulleys. Timber's used one pulley and mine uses two. Mine is a lot easier in regard to moving weight, you have to figure, the amount of weight is cut in a little less than half every time you add a pulley.

i am going to start my first cycle with Epistane to made a thread about this but didnt get any responses so ill just ask here

20/30/30/40

"pct assist" looks pretty good, but as usual it's a very good idea to have a serm on hand. it is also recommended to be at least 21 before running any PH/DS cycles. 6'3" @ 240 is pretty impressive, i know im jealous! what's the bf %?

ya i know its reccomended you should be 21 but i know guys that started when they were 18 amd are fine.. i am going to make sure i have everything right before i start to.not sure about bf% never had it checkd so far ive just been in powerlifting meets but plan on getting into bodybuilding sometime next year

I'm going to recommend you wait longer as well... You should be growing like a weed at your age.

When you do run - don't leave out the SERM...

hey g after reading the other thread about deadlifts and checking out the youtube videos posted, what im doing seems more like Rdl than Sdl. the guy who owns my gym does Sdl, and when i saw him doing them, i was like wtf. Didn't look right to me.

:261:Jesus Tapdancing Christ. You are gonna go to the trouble of PMing me about running steroids at 17, and when I take the time to tell you that you shouldn't do it, you come straight out on the board and just blow Rbuecker's log up?:twak:

I'm glad you value my opinion so much. Why do you even ask questions if you aren't gonna listen to the answers if they don't turn out to be what you wanted?

Will a mod please ban this guy?!

I'll give you one more piece of advice before you (hopefully) get the boot. Listen to people who you ask advice from. Second, DON'T DO STEROIDS BEFORE YOU ARE 21 IF EVER!
