First Cycle- Advice, Logs, etc.

Hello folks,

Let me start out by saying I'm not after a quick fix or "my friend told me this stuff is good so I got it." I've done quite a bit of research over the past year and change, and have decided now is the time. That being said, I do not know everything about everything, and absolutely appreciate any and all advice you folks may have for me. Good, bad... it's all great as long as it's constructive. (We all know how this sort of thing can go on other sites...)

My backstory... most all my life I was 120lbs. In highschool I was between 85-110 depending on what year it was. College I ended up graduating about 120. In the years after, even being active (avid snowboarder, mountain biked, hiked, fished, boxing, etc) I still was about 120-125. In my mid 20s my metabolism slowed down and I had the same body I did at 120lbs, aside from everything was round, a pot belly (bad), and fat face. My wrists are 6", and my bi's were about 7-8". Muscle was always VERY difficult for me to put on. So when I was 28, I was embarrassed about what my body had become. I was 180 and the epitome of skinny fat. I spent a few months lifting and swimming every day. During this time I focused on lifting to prepare myself for going hard without injury. I managed to have a partial AC separation that set my chest back pretty bad for the time being... but on Jan 1 of 2010 I was 165 and had a "skinny but sort of athletic build." (Not ripped, but I was more 'normal') I lifted heavy as hell, and by Jan 1, 2011 I had gotten my deadlift from 80 to 325 in a year and a half. My bench max was 185 (although I can't really bench heavy due to the AC issue) and my dumbbell press was 70 x 14. I would squat 175 close stance ATG (lacking, I know) but had 22" quads, 15" calves. For the seated calf raise I use 4 plates generally.

At this point I was 186lbs and about 16%. (Focused on gaining muscle rather than losing fat as I needed a good base).

Spring/summer of 2011 I cut down to 145 (strength stayed the same, so I kept going) and was around 8% I believe. My full oblique visibility, quad separation, visible veins over (very) lower abs and over obliques. Shoulder and trap striations and the like.

From 2011-Jan 1 2012 I lifted heavy, but saw little strength gains. I started eating a bit more, strength stayed the same but I went up to about 10-11% body fat. Still good, but not nearly the amount of lean mass I want.

I'm 31 now, metabolism is slow, pretty clear test levels have dropped, and I'm having a hell of a time putting on lean mass. I got great noob gains, slow but reasonable gains for a while, now almost nothing, and want to run a cycle to see how I react. I was never opposed to it, but wanted to wait until I was lifting a few years, and had hit some sort of plateau.

Well, as much as it sucks... I feel like I have. Awful genetics? Sure... but hey, so what... we can fight them!

Tonight is the last beer I'm having for three months, and diet is going to be back on point... macros in great order, watch calories like a hawk, etc.

As far as the cycle goes...

Fish Oil
Protein

Week 2
Liver Assist XT (2 am, 1pm)
H-Drol (50mg) (1am 1pm)

Fish Oil (1am, 1 lunch, 2 prebed)
Protein

Week 3-7
Liver Assist XT (2a, 1p)
H-Drol (75mg) (2am, 1pm)
Multi/Fishoil/protein/etc

Week 8
Liver Assist XT (2a, 1p)
Nolva (20mg AM)
Testopro (2am, 2pm)
DAA (2am)
Inhibit E (1pm)
Multi/Fishoil/protein/etc
Creatine

Week 9
Liver Assist XT (2a, 1p)
Nolva (20mg am)
TestoPro (2am, 2pm)
DAA (2am)
Inhibit E (1am, 1pm)
Multi/Fishoil/protein/etc
Creatine

Week 10-11
Liver Assist XT (2am, 1pm)
Nolva (10mg AM)
TestoPro (2am, 2pm)
DAA (2 am)
Inhibit E (1am, 1pm)
Creatine

Any advice at all? I have had good luck with TestoPro (psychosomatic or not, it helped mood/sex drive/etc) and DAA... but I feel DAA could be overkill as it is. Also considering Lean Xtreme again, had good luck with it on my cut, but that's easy to come by and in the cupboard.

Normally I do a pretty standard 4-5 day split (the 5th day is "polish" or core work if I need it) and focus on compound lifts and heavy as hell. Usually most sets 5-7 rep range, with at least one per group that's 10-12. I seem to respond best to that.

Really nice layout, I would keep the DAA in there and maybe add in the lean xtreme on week 3.

But at 150lbs.. are you sure you cant gain anymore mass naturally? Perhaps a GDA ? Something like Need2slin, or Anabolic Pump ?
Add some natty anabolic like AnaBeta?

If you are SET on taking hdrol, then I would just do the above. You could go for more complete health protection products like Need2Guard, and such but as long as you are healthy its more insurance than necessary for something mild like Hdrol, specially since you are only going to 75mgs.

A stronger AI you might want to consider is Forma Stanzol. Lowers SHBG levels and can make the cycle even more pronounced. You would just add that on top the cycle probably around week 2- the end of PCT where you would taper off after your serm is stopped.

You don't need it but it would be good. Also, I like a GDA like Need2slin/Anabolic pump ALWAYS. So when I am on and during PCT (PCT is a must have I think) I usually always have one that I take with my meals to assure I am getting the most of my food.

Have a fun and safe cycle man ;)

Well being absolutely sure of natural limits and hitting a plateau are a bit different. Am I sure? No, I'm not going to sit and lie and make excuses to justify anything ya know. Seen too much of that in this industry. :) what I will say is things aren't making progress so this is a strong consideration.... however education and safety is extremely important.

Howeve at 185 I looked lean enough... just not ripped. I just lost a LOT of fat. And 6" wrists and 29 inch waist.... small thin frame. At 150 you can see my lats through t shirts, trap striations, etc. Strength is still what it was then, however no matter how I change my routine it still stays the same.

A big part of it is curiosity too. I need to get my hormone panel next week to check everything out pre and post also.

I think 170 and 8% is obtainable for me. Naturally? Well honestly I'm not sure. I wish I could say yes... but I just don't know.

Basically its time. Layne Norton got to where he is at now naturally. Just took time, and loads of off season. Eating to grow. Making sure weight stuck on. 170lbs @ 8% is doable, but the extremes at which you would have to take your diet and exercise will vary greatly with genetics. PH will allow you to build muscle faster, and use more calories to build muscle so any excess eating will be used for muscle gain (to a certain degree). But if you cant gain weight w/o the PH and you are only 150lbs then most likely when you add in the PH you will not see very much in muscle gains. Well other than enhanced muscle glycogen uptake and maybe some water retention (always depends on the user).

Yeah, but to be fair, Layne started early and made it his life's work/career ;)

Yea, all about the dedication lol. I know though with the right set up of PH/AAS, you can get to 170 @8%. Only thing is it might not be the healthiest way. ;)
I in no way look down on using the above... I have run my fair share (and still do )

A few other somewhat obscure questions... a lot of things out there have conflicting advice so I thought I would ask.

1) what's the ideal storage tempature for liquid nolva?

2) as far as an AI and cortosol... Inhibit E + Lean Xtreme doing inhibit e at week 1 of pct and tapering off after serm then lean xtreme at day 14 of pct is a good option? or Erase? If Erase... and tips on running it with lean xtreme? I have experience with Inhibit E and Lean xtreme, so that's why those choices originally.

3) a good call to gradually increase volume and calories over week 1-2, peaking around week three? My logic was that diet and exercise increase as you can handle/need more... but at what rate of increase? Is it better to try to ramp up food gradually to match the needs, or increase faster to make sure the body has what is necessary and then some. The latter of course, may add some fat but its not long enough I'm concerned about that.

I see a pretty big gap between ideal and "good enough." I'm shooting for as close to ideal as possible.

1) Room temperature/cool/dark.

2) anti-e and cort control are up to you in terms of products, just taper past the serm on the anti-e.

3) Ramp up food as you are working harder/adding mass.

How old are you? Whats your training split and macros?

I'm 31, and my split is generally something like this.

Big/back - deads, pullups, rows, then bi ISO and finish lats and traps.
Day off
Chest - bench light due to AC issue, fly, tri pull/push downs, skullcrushers, etc
Day off
Legs - squats are king with isos to polish and abs
Shoulders if I'm up to it
Day off

Three main compound days with shoulders on their own.

Best dead was end of my cut repping 325
Bench I did a few of 185 but normally only 135 from the injury
Squats I do close stance atg 135 high rep or 185 low rep

Rep range I do 5 reps heavy for strength mixed with 8-12 for hypertrophy. Im very happy with my balance. Just need more all around. Last measure was 29" waist and 21" quads. And awesome Asian broadn6" wrists.

For cutting I did 3000-3500 depending on cardio. Bunking last year I did wekk at 4500. ( I'm a very active guy) and macros try for 40/40/20. Carbs am and post workout. Ate as clean as possible.

You will want to rehab your shoulder and get your lift higher before you start any cycle, also your lifts could use to be higher then you can go on cycle without hitting atleast most of your potential you wont get much out of cycle also shoulder workouts should be always, not if I feel like it. Now I am done preaching. From what you have posted you have alot more natural potential to strive for before you going to anabolics.
