Finasteride dosage

Just wondering how many of you have 1.) Taken Finasteride and 2.) When did you start noticing the effects? From what I have read it takes about a week before it begins to work. What dosages are best for staving off hair shedding via Testosterone therapy if one were doing such? 1mg? .5mg?

Finistride has no noticable effects besides helping you retain your hair. You wont notice that until months of continued use.

0.5mg is 90% effective as 1mg.

I think if you read the merck site, they'll say how long before it reduces dht significantly (1 day I think).

Supposedly you may notice regrowth after around 3 months.

Cool deal, I'm not really looking for regrowth just prevention and keeping it from getting thin. So 1 day eh? Pretty good :cheers:
