finally moving out

im pumped. Ive never been away from home like that but my buddy needed a roomie and I applied at osu. What was it like for you guys when you got your own places. Im hoping to bang as many girls as i can (we'll see) and just have a kickass time!
 
**** Cortez, I haven't seen a post from you in a while. I was wondering if you were still around. Have you been abl to get laid yet??...LOL!

Hope things go well for you on your own. Just remember to have fun, but be responsible. Nothing like having to move back home with your tail begtween your legs because of some stupid stunt you pulled. I grew up too fast. Got married right out of high school and moved out. So, maybe others who did it right can fill you in on the does and don'ts.

Actually have like 2 girls who want to **** me right now but i am not attracted to the one but the other has already said she will come "visit" sometime at osu haha
 
Having a place to yourself is good stuff man. I never was a roommate type back in college. I would throw too many bows', b/c i had some pricks for roommates. Enjoy your time brother man, and always wear your raincoat. :wave:

It has its pros and cons. I'll be moving back in with my rents in September for a few months till I figure out where I'm going to do an internship in the spring.

I'm kinda down on it now, but having your apartment robbed will do that to ya....
 
I like having my own apartment. I go to college in Erie PA area, moved here from Philly.

I mostly like it, because I get to buy my own food, it really helps me from cheating :lol: With my parents and 2 siblings buying food there is always junk around to tempt me. Now i can go buy my chicken and tuna and no one else will eat it.

When you're renting, check your windows/ door locks, haha... I had a place I was renting last year, and in my roomate's room his window never locked, and we were on ground floor. Over a break, most of my stuff got ganked. It sucked :sad: xbox, dvd collection, subwoofers. Luckily my speakers for the theater are too big to carry out :lol:

having your own place is SICK

i am a senior at UT and lived in a dorm fresh-soph year and a duplex (with 8 frat bros) jun year and now just a really good friend in a sweet apt..

I can give you TONS of advice but here are the main ones:

1- pay rent on time (not only will you be hit with late fees but iit will be harder to rent other places in the future)

2- set rules (determine who/when takes out the trash, does dishes, and if they do something you dont like TELL THEM and ask them to tell you if you do something they dont like)

3- have a routine (it took me 3 years to perfect it, but now I got it down 100%... like all your food/cleaning/schooling/reading/career building/job etc I have so many tips/tricks its insane and I have cut down doing my daily crap by A LOT and its still high quality)

4-**** every hot girl you SEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
