I woke up stiff and in pain(neck area just to clarify)lol. Didn't make a decision to lift till input from chiro. Chiro was awesome. Shout out to Dr. Dave at Arsenault Chiropractic in Haverhill, Ma! Found my issues quickly. Traction, adjustment, and some electro stim on the trap. He use to powerlift competitively and now does tri athalons. He felt I should stay away from exercises that's cause the pain and work around it w diff exercises for that muscle group. Common sense right? Lol. But last chiro was more into burning up the visits my
Ins paid for and then coming as needed out of pocket. He also felt I shouldn't lift under 12 rep range, no squats, no deads, no overhead press of any kind(lower back/compression of spine theory) and he was a tall lean runner geeky kinda guy( no offense to anyone remotely resembling that depiction). So I think I found the right guy for me. Writing this tues am and my neck n trap are nice. I see him again next Monday. So for

I am soooo hungry I can't stand it!

I still lift w a pre Pre-workout mentality. Ie I try to save fuel in the tank. Chest for instance. I was doing incline b4 flat. Traditionally I'd smoke upper chest and be useless for flat. Or vice versa if I hit flat I'd be useless on incline. I could have repped out more on the first 3 sets but mentally still feel I need to save so e gas for inclines. My inclines felt as nice if not better than the flat. That being said I need bigger DB. Having only up to 90 lb will hinder my 4-6 rep range w max intensity.
So I'm not sure which it is the MASS 550 or the STIMUL8 giving me the high octane! I'm happy w both for sure!
Anyone know how much AI is in the MASS 550? And what is it?

Brassaiopsis glomerulata extract is becoming rapidly popular in the sports supplement industry to boost testosterone and decrease estrogen. What does this all mean? It means that maslinic acid added to the diet acts as a growth factor by increasing white muscle tissue and increasing protein turnover rates.
White muscle weight of the trout that was fed maslinic acid was significantly higher than the control group in the above study. This is a major breakthrough because fish has more muscle than any other vertebrae, which makes up roughly between 40-60 percent of its total body mass. The results of the above study illustrated “that maslinic acid fed to rainbow trout significantly increases whole-body growth rate. Whole-body weight of the trout fed 250 mg maslinic acid kg−1 for 225 days was 29% higher than control.” Yes, 29% growth!

The above study also demonstrated that maslinic acid increased protein turnover rates. What is protein turnover? If you are a bodybuilder, sprinter, football player, endurance athlete or just a fitness enthusiast, protein turnover is the key to your success. Protein turnover rate is the ratio of protein synthesis vs protein degradation. Simply put, your body is in an anabolic state when you have more protein synthesis versus protein breakdown. Conversely, if you have more breakdown than synthesis your body is in a catabolic state. That being said, the outcome of the above study showed that the group with maslinic acid in their diet increased its protein synthesis rate more than 80% compared to the control group. Furthermore, the chemical structure of maslinic acid is similar to steroid hormones and a proposed mechanism of action in cell signaling similar to that of testosterone. Animal studies have shown that Maslinic Acid has a powerful anabolic effect by increasing whole body growth rate, regulating blood glucose, nitrogen retention, and increasing the synthesis of DNA and protein. In recent years, some researches reveal that Maslinic Acid shows beneficial effects in reducing cerebral damage.

Supplements containing ursolic acid are starting to gain popularity due to recent studies of its effectiveness. However, the oral bioavailability of maslinic acid is far superior compared to other triterpenoids such as ursolic acid. Oh, absolutely. Banded DB's would be great addition to your press. It will not replace a higher weight necessarily, but wil assist in your lockout (the upper movement) and pec squeeze, ultimately increasing your overall reps.

It's definitely a great tool to add. Pause and exploding reps, as well as a longer negative will help change things up too. 90 is still a lot of weight on DB's, and there are still more ways to change it up.

im a beef eating guy.. love me some slabs of red juicy meat. anyhow the other night my wife and I went to this newer place in town that has this giant grill/smoker that fronts the road they are on and its constantly pouring out the best smelling smoke... anyhow.. long story made shorter: the best prime rib ive ever had. period. couldn't even hardly use my horse radish on it. so we tell the owner that its hard to get good beef after living in Montana for most my life.. she says.. well its funny you should say that.. the cook is from Montana!! lolz go figure.. anyhow if your ever in Kennewick wa and want a fine slab of heaven, hook up with me.

Sad .... nothing left but half a pound of ground beef. I ate it ;) but now my freezer is devoid of all things beef. I grew up on a farm and we raised 150 head of cattle so every year we slaughtered 1 or 2. I grew up living on healthy, grass fed beef. Now that's all gone and in the past and I have to eat the beef from Costco or Safeway ..... just not the same. If I can ever afford it I will start buying grass fed organic from one of the local farming co-ops but until then its the red dyed crap from the store ..... and even that's getting expensive. :(

Not a bad idea LOL I think going back to the old ways of growing your own ..... veggies and meat is the way to go. I already grow most of my own veggies but no room left out front for cattle. :( I took out my front lawn 3 yrs ago and built some nice raised garden beds and planted a garden. Looks like nice landscaping yet I can eat it!!! ;) Still trying to figure out the beef thing though.

I grew up across the street from a steer farm. Oh the smelly memories! My wife and I grow a lot of veggies. Broccoli is quite the challenge. Mostly matoes, snap peas, cukes, and pears! And I checked your profile nice to see I'm not the only one int BLS! More of a Pantera/ disturbed guy myself but love "Fire it up". Plus I ride an HD SO THATS A SWEET RIDING TUNE!
