Fiber reduces oral absorption??

I've been taking metamucil caps for extra fiber intake for awhile now. If using orals, is it not a good idea to take my metamucil around the same time I dose my 55mg's of dbol once/day? IF not, how long would you say I should wait? I thought that it might not get absorbed as well due to the 5-6 grams of fiber floating around in my stomach along with the dbols. Any thoughts on this?

If you read the label it says you should wait at least 2 hours after or before you take any medication because it will "slow" the absorbtion. I'm not sure if it will stop it the absorbtion, I doubt it. I used to take the caps, but they are a pain in the ass. I've been using Fiber-Psyll. Its good stuff. Its a powder version and its lemon lime flavor. I get it from Power Nutrition, because I don't know any other place that sells it. Its a much better deal than the caps. With the caps there is only .5 grams in each cap. With Fiber-Psyll one serving gets you 12 grams of fiber. 2-3 servings a day and you have all your fiber intake needed. Thats depending on how many calories you consume and the other fiber in your diet also. I don't always get it all in though because of the problem you talk about. Its a pain in the ass timing it correctly...

hmn, i'm not sure on the exact chemistry, but i know substances such as bile bind to the fiber in your stomach and are excreted; hence why foods like oats which are high in fiber lower blood cholesterol so effectively. cholesterol is a precursor to bile, so having less bile means cholesterol is pulled from the blood to make bile, which in turn equals having less cholesterol overall

THanks for responses guys. I'm gonna check that out T-bone. 3 servings/day sounds good to me.

chasec, that sound about right. Killing two birds w/ one stone so to speak. ;)
