This morning's training session was a solid one. I woke up at around 0600 hours, headed downstairs, and popped 4 caps of VFR. I felt good through out my training with a nice feeling of steady energy.

Seeing that it was 90 degrees in my garage I was sweating pretty good. I just made sure I was chugging my gallon of water so it wasn't much of an issue.

Same in my garage gym! That's the only down fall of having the gym in the garage and it being summer time.

I'm currently installing a mini split AC unit in my garage this week.

Had a couple of days last week that were in the mid 90s and decided the money is worth the comfort. Plus the wife and kids are switching from working out once per week to 3-5 times a week, so I wanna keep them comfortable to.

If you have a garage gym that has no AC (or heat) I highly recommend looking into these units. They're not terribly expensive and it's relatively easy to find a good spot to install them.

Nice! I'm going to have to look into them if they don't break the bank too much!

I'm kind of use to the hot and cold though as i grew up having a garage gym that was less insulated than my current garage. But if you figure the amount of time I spent working out in the garage it makes sense to install a mini split.

This morning's training was great. My bench felt good and my top set was solid. Going forward I'll be rating my top sets just to get a better feel for using RPE. It'll only benefit me going forward I feel. It'll also help me gauge if I'm making improvements and what not.

I took 4 caps upon waking up at around 0600 hours and was in my garage soon after. The energy and focus was solid through out my training. My bench felt strong and I definitely noticed I was dialed in through out which was nice. I had a decent pump once I started doing my 5x10 sets with my cambered press bar.

It was a good morning of training and a good way to start the last week of this mesocycle.

I was pretty pumped to get my first training session in with my Transformer Bar. I am just replacing all my squat work with it going forward. There's no need to use a barbell for squat work at this point in my training.

I included a video of my three working sets. You'll notice at the bottom of the squat I flare my elbows out to avoid any interference with the handles and to be able to hit depth.

Other than that the bar feels absolutely amazing! I had the bar set in the low bar squat position. I do notice you have to grip the handles a bit more in order to keep the bar tight on your back.

For my accessory work, I set it up on the hinge setting and did good mornings with it. This setting felt f'n good and so perfect for good mornings. It'll be an accessory movement I keep going forward.

I was definitely in the zone and feeling good through out training. I think the excitement was definitely part of having a new bar to train with. My energy felt good and solid through out with no let down. I wasn't worried about a pump at all seeing that I was squatting.

It's always exciting to train when you have a new piece of equipment in the gym or get a new supplement :)

This morning's training was great! I took VFR as normal, 4 caps upon waking on an empty stomach.

The focus, energy, and even pump this morning was very solid. My OHP felt strong and I definitely felt dialed in.
