FDA cleared inhalent form of insulin:

I am looking for threads or info on a new form of insulin which is inhaled. If anybody has heard about please post links. I remember a blog about it yesterday. I know phizer was one of the three companies pushing it.
The only warnings seemed to be with smokers or people with lung conditions. Good news for pincushions.

I read about this in the Drug Research section in Muscular Development in an issue a few months back.. I'll see if I can dig it up and type it out later tonight...

The FDA letter pharmacist received stated the pulmonary Insulin must be only taken before meals and you still need to use the injected Insulin after meals.
