Fat in weird places

I basically have a 6 pack but at night under my arms tends to store fat and feel bloated or weird under my armpit. In the morning it goes down? Is this inflammation related? Hormone related. Seems so weird that at night or during the day it gets worse. I do take a few of those nicotine lozenges which might raise cortisol? No clue but thought I would ask

There are a lot of lymph nodes in that area. You're description is akin to swelling of the tissues.

Yeah. I’ve had a bad head cold last few weeks. Not sure if that’s it. Or just excess fat but I haven’t gained weight. Kinda strange
