So I’ve researched the FMD and have completed the first 4 days cycle (first set of 3) out of this 3 month plan. I did this though in a keto style, where carbs were kept to 10g (max) per day.
For myself I kind of stumbled through the 4 days as I wasn’t prepared for the onslaught of un eatable food in my house. I still managed to stay around 400-600 calories though.
Even with the rough first cycle, I still noticed a significant reduction in inflammation and joint pain in my shoulders, as well a a significant reduction in my waist size and how my gut feels overall ( so much less bloat)
As far as subcutaneous fat, I didn’t notice much, if I had stayed in ketosis this might have been different, as my arms and legs were looking shredded, especially the day after the refeed.
The first 2 days I was drinking a lot of coffee, but that was really hard on my stomach by day 3, so I switched to green tea which helped tremendously.
So I’m wondering who else has done this and what supps did you rely on?
Personally I’ve now got supplemental ketones ( didn’t buy a bottle last time until day 3$) as was as a tub of vpx ketonz, cel tudca, and boxed bone beef broth for next run.

Sns focus xt
Whey protein
Bcaa
Omega 3
Multi vitamin
Coconut oil
